5 minute walk to town, but a bit longer getting back due to the hill. Fantastic views over the wharf and beach areas. Super friendly hosts who go out of their way to make you welcome. Appears there are a number of long-term guests staying as well. Kitchen and common room are both awesome. Most definitely will stay here again. Bookings...

While the view from the hostel was beautiful, we wouldn't stay here again. The hostel is extremely old, the rooms are outdated and furniture is circa 1970. Not much of a hostel atmosphere. We did not use the kitchen facility, but it seemed to be an accomodating size. The wifi is only meant to work in the common areas, but...

This is a clean budget place to stay but a bit crowded. This is grea when you are there to socialize and meet new people. The main living area is fun, a big space where there is wifi. Overall a good place to stay.

After arriving here for a few nights in Queenstown, we were not welcomed by the other people staying in the hostel- they were all workers and it was very much a 'working hostel'. It was busy, overcrowded and small. Good showers in the bathrooms- but I couldn't even brush my teeth the one night as it was full of girls...

The management here were fantastic, super friendly and always happy to help. I was overall pretty impressed with Deco, the kitchen and lounge area is pretty cool and is open from 0700-2345, although this is pretty much the only place where you can connect to the wifi unless you're in a room which is opposite it. Kitchen is pretty well...

I stayed for 4 nights there in a doublé room, a Little bit small but it was ok. Toitles or bathroom in general was ok, clean in my opinión, same as kitchen. Young people, a bit noisy sometimes but still ok. Well located and affordable Price.

The staff here are friendly and helpful. Guests are noisy and often drunk. I was here 3 nights and thought that Sat night was loud for obvious reasons and that Sun/Mon would be better. I was wrong. Many drunk young people running through the halls (thin walls too!) and shouting. Not easy to get sleep if you're thinking of hiking...

Stayed in a double over New years for 4days.Even though I can understand the bad reviews about the teenagers being wasted and finding the long-termes a little annoying myself I enjoyed my stay(I am 30 and not a party animal).Good facilities, cleaned every day(bathrooms are even getting cleaned professionelly).Coffee for free and practical hot water boiler.Large garden overlooking Lake Wakatipu and...
