This place was great! They thought of all the little things that make hostels better than "just a place to sleep". The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and cooking stations. Each dorm room has a specific refrigerator to use to avoid kitchen confusion. They had an iPad in the kitchen that guests could use to play their favorite pandora... More

This facility is top notch! TV/netflix, free tea/coffee, full kitchen, daily activities at night. At cost snacks and great staff that will recommend the best adventure guides to fit your fancy! They know most of the tour companies and work very hard to get scheduled what you want to do. There really is no other place to consider in Queenstown.... More

I LOVE THIS PLACE! It's great on every single aspect. We booked 2 double bunk bed room after seeing reviews that it's #1 on TA. We were surprised it is not on any booking sites (we found out later the reason they didn't advertise on any booking sites was because those sites will take 10% of the cost). We were... More

This place is like a hotel for real. The beds comfy Kitchen well equipped Bathroom is better than my house. The location is next to all the adventure companies The people I've met and my room mates are 10/10 I'm so glad I changed my flights and paid a a load for queenstown because I would have had regrets if... This is by far one of the best hostels I've come across anywhere in the world. I stayed in one of the female dorms and it was fantastic. The beds were super comfortable and sturdy (so no one was woken up by people getting in and out of the bunks). The ensuite was modern and clean, and there was a... More

We get almost emotional when we think about this hostel... It's such a great place on so many levels. Friendly staff, safe, clean, strong facilities, easy to meet people but the atmosphere generated is something else. We booked 3 nights and ended up staying 7 as we kept extending. If you can get a room here just book it and... More

It's just a great all round hostel, great communal area with Netflix, free use of computers and printers, free tea and coffee, nice size rooms, very helpful staff and great location. Best hostel in Queenstown.

I only stayed one night here but I actually wish I'd stayed longer. The staff were super friendly and the rooms are quiet which is rare in Queenstown. They have lots of amenities which I didn't get to use but you can rent bikes, go pro's, skis, all sorts! Each bed has a light, a charging station and a lil... More

The quintessential hostel located in the coolest little town on earth! My friend and I absolutely loved the AQ Hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - making lots of phone calls and reservations on our behalf. You could not find a hostel more perfectly located - in the heart of town and a block away from Ferburger and... More

This was my first stay in a hostel and it was wonderful! It's very very clean (I'm a serious neat freak and I was really happy!) and has so many amenities. The storage room is super secure so you never have to worry about getting anything stolen either! They have a no noise policy after 10pm that was enforced, as... More
