What a great place, stunning location with a most wonderful backdrop of the hills. Located in a very quiet area about 10 minutes by car from the city centre so made for a peaceful haven and ensured a peaceful nights sleep. We occupied the 2 downstairs suits both of which were fabulously furnished and had everything one could wish for....

This is in a beautiful setting just outside Queenstown. It only takes 10 minutes to get into town but is far enough to feel away from the hustle and bustle. The lodge is beautifully furnished and the bedrooms are large and have everything you could possibly need, including hair straighteners! The managers are the most hospitable people you could ever...

Ian and Sandie were the best hosts we have ever encountered on our travels; they were generous ( shared wine) warm, welcoming and exceptional cooks. The accomodation was at the highest standard and nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed for 3 nights and felt they had become friends. We really did not want to leave. We couldn't...

Ian and Sandie were fabulous hosts. They gave us a brief but thorough review of all the things to do in Queenstown and surrounding areas, and believe me there are too many to list. The lodge itself is in the countryside just a short ride from downtown Queenstown and near Lake Hughes and great walking paths. We did the Dart...

What a wonderful stay. This is a lovely bed and breakfast. Sandy and Ian were very easy-going and welcoming. The room was conspicuously clean. Breakfast was terrific (Ian simply walked outside and picked herbs to add to our eggs - how fresh is that!). Ian graciously gave us a tour of the animals. Sandy graciously offered to drop us off...

Ian and Sandie met us at the door of their beautiful B & B just outside of Queenstown, and from that point until we left three days later, there was nothing we asked for or about that they didn't help us accomplish. A load of laundry? No problem. Need to contact the car rental agency about a flat tire? Don't...

My husband and I spent one night at QCL in January.
