This hotel is located in the most breathtaking scenery, with views out to the shotover river from the rooms. Unfortunately you cannot access the river from the hotel, a steep perilous descent and long neglected path prevent that. The hotel was obviously once very grand, but is a bit shabby now. Neglected tennis court, furnishings slightly worn, loose tiling on...

Have stayed here before so was disappointed to find it a little bit rundown with broken tiles on the patio outside the room and an open drain hole gurgling away constantly. However the staff ,esp. Courtney were outstanding and they assured me the place has new owners who intend to refurbish with wooden balconies/patios. I hope so because its a...

My wife and I are touring New Zealand and we decided to drive to Queenstown. We wanted somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown and started driving out towards Arrowtown. We found Nugget Point almost by accident and we were amazed by the imposing ftont gates. The hotel had been extensively refurbished. Fortunately there was an upgrade room...

i stayed at this hotel last week and was blown away by the beautiful accommodations and the friendly staff. The hotel is a few miles out of town but the views are spectacular. The staff helped coordinate our activities and were extremely helpful. The pool, hot tub and spa are gorgeous. Apparently there is new management and they bent over...

I couldn't love this place more. I'm local and have visited here a couple of times now and each time, it just feels so welcoming, luxurious and relaxing. The furnishings are gorgeous, the river-view rooms absolutely stunning and the whole atmosphere just blissful. Plus, Rowena the manager took such good care of us. My boyfriend had asked for a 'special...

This hotel reopened just a few weeks ago, and it's absolutely stunning! My room & furnishings were large and gorgeous, and the views from the balcony were breathtaking! King-sized bed, spa tub...I felt so spoiled! The staff was amazing - so kind & helpful! Rowena, Daniela, Tiffany and Courtney were great! And it turns out Courtney is from Iowa (small...

Post Milford Track walk, we stumbled in, stinky, dirty and tired. We were greeted warmly, no raised eyebrows at our condition ! We didn't even know we were coming to a luxury hotel - nothing about the cost indicated it - but it was very welcome! Huge bedrooms with comfy beds, beautiful views, a spa and pool to unwind and...

I almost don't want to write a review so I can keep this wonderful place a secret! However it really deserves a great deal of praise, especially as it is so newly opened and already feels so established. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from central queenstown in a really beautiful quiet area overlooking Shotover river. The staff...
