Wait for anything in the restaurant was ridiculous as they seemed to have a new chef that didn't know what he was doing? Also they seemed to be having electrical issues all 6 days which meant the steam room could not be opened. The location is right at the bottom pretty much of Coronet Peak and we were there for...

We stayed here two nights but wish we could stay 20! So far the best hotel in NZ. I really like this boutique hotel which has history and character. We had the river view room which offered breathtaking views. The spa tub was amazing and the roman inspired spa with steam room, pool and jacuzzi were included in the price...

We really loved the hotel, and we're lucky to be upgraded to river view room despite having booked for the garden view at least for the first night. I'd definitely recommend the river view room only as the bathroom also comes with a jacuzzi bathtub. The pool and spa area is just amazing..The best part is if you have a...

The view from our room was great - overlooking the Shotover river and mountains. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Queenstown centre so is best if you have a car. The hotel has good sized and comfortable rooms; a recently opened Burmese restaurant ; indoor pool and spa ; a "cinema" room ; and a large bar/lounge. We...

We stayed for 4 nights. The stay was quite comfortable and the view from the room was breathtaking and also the Shotover jet-Boat is your morning Alarm every morning. The hotel is 6KM from city-center, but the drive back and forth is worth the view. The rooms are large with a sofa and an attached balcony and with a good...

This hotel could be a really nice place to stay in as it's location is great. It was however fairly awful. There were so many small to medium things that by themselves would have been ok but together were really annoying. We got a feeling for what was going to happen on our first night in the restaurant when a...

This hotel is a short distance out of Queenstown and so less expensive than those in town. It is a lovely spa hotel with spacious rooms with a balcony . Some rooms have an amazing view, unfortunately ours was at the front of the hotel. The pool is good and there is a jacuzzi. We had a problem with the bathroom...

We stayed three nights at Nugget Point and were very happy there. Though it is a bit outside of Queenstown (barely a 10 minute drive), the views are spectacular. The spa and pool are also extremely lovely. Though the main dining area was being renovated, the Bodhi Tree (a Burmese restaurant on site) was open and the food was excellent.

Kia Ora lauxkl Thank you for taking the time to review us, we very much appreciate the feedback! I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed our special location - it is hard to believe that this spectacular spot is so close the bars and buzz of central Queenstown. We believe it's the best of both worlds. We've very recently paired...

The location well out of Queenstown was a bit of surprise we didn't expect. The hotel is like an older style spa or health retreat and is now a bit dated. But the room was large, with a good view of the river. The internet shut down just before check out time which caught us out. Whether that was a...
