The Q House is a older B&B located just one steep block above all the action in Queenstown. Our room was on the smaller side but was clean and well looked after. We had a private patio and a washer and dryer available for our use. The evening drinks and canapés are a nice touch. Breakfast was very good.

Our family have been operating Queenstown House for 35 years, we consider ourselves professional and well experienced at supplying more than a bed for the night for the discerning traveller. We are constantly refurbishing to offer the most comfortable stay in a choice of several room types from our cosyier rooms to our spacious suite/apartments. Glad you enjoyed our hospitality,...

We were on a touring holiday and spent 3 nights here while we explored Queenstown and the surrounding area. Our room was quite small but we had the added benefit of a patio area. There was also a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities just outside for our exclusive use. Another another bonus was the washing machine - extremely...

Wifi & Washing facilities I have found from my own travelling experiences are two top priorities. Our rooms vary in side but all have a special feature, up todate beds and top quality linen and pillows make for a good nights sleep. We enjoy offering our evening get together as it is a great opportunity to exchange ideas and restaurant recommendations.We...

Standing at the top of a hill above Queenstown, this small cosy B&B is simply the best we have stayed in for a long time. The welcome from the owner Louise was so warm and welcoming, and we found the same friendly attitude from all the staff especially Lesse and Simone. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and their...

Very comfortable accommodation, magnificent view, the most wonderful home made breakfast. The pancakes with bacon, maple syrup, banana and compote were the best - and zero calories (according to Chere!). Drinks and canapés at 5.30 were an added bonus.

The ladies who are the hosts are amazing and fabulous cooks. One of them got me a reservation in a top restaurant for my birthday. FOC wine and canapés outside in the late afternoon are a real bonus and adds to tremendous camaraderie. Also there is guaranteed parking and Queenstown is v busy. Our one negative point was our room...

Hospitality anf great food is our speciality. Our Queen rooms are small but compared to similar I have stayed in in the uK they are well designed with room for luggage, our bathrooms are modern and fully equipped. Being in the southern alps, most acomodation is up a hill to take advantage of great views which our dining, and living...

There is much to like about this B&B: location, which is close to the centre and offers good views, common areas, including patio where drinks and very good canapés are served. The drawbacks we met were that the decor and furnishings were faded and that our bathroom was very poorly equipped and needed updating.

Sadly we cannot identify who you are so do not know what room you stayed in. All our bathrooms have been updated in the past couple of years, having been operating for 35 years we are very aware of keeping bathrooms in particular up to a high standard.,Our original building is charming and mature but our furnishings and beds are...

We stayed 4 nights at Queenstown House in a Lakeview room. The hospitality and service could not be faulted - we were looked after and made so welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed here for 5 nights and were sad to leave! The staff was friendly, helpful, and warm. The breakfasts were amazing - freshly baked pastries, eggs benedict and more, and fresh fruit. In the evening, appetizers and wine create an opportunity for the guests to share their recommendations and adventures. The view of Lake Wakatipu was quite beautiful. Highly...
