I had the pleasure of staying at Queenstown House for ten days in June/July and my expectations were truly exceeded. There was a feeling of warmth and homeliness from the moment I arrived. The rooms were comfortably appointed and clean, with tea and coffee making facilities. I enjoyed the common areas as well - 2 separate lounge areas and a...

Thank you for sharing your experience, it is particualarly appreciated by myself as I have just returned from a 6 week trip and did not get to meet you and am more than thrilled to be told about my wonderful hand picked staff who allow me to travel and get inspired so as we are up to date with current...

Loved this place. Great service - very helpful staff who turned us on to activities and great restaurants. You definitely need a room with a view. The rooms are a bit small and you "can" hear through the walls. The breakfast was fantastic - especially the eggs benedict.

Glad you enjoyed you stay, we do try and describe what our rooms offer, our Queen rooms are cosy however as I am travelling in France & UK I find our rooms at least have room for luggage which is not something I am finding in boutique properties over here ! Our studio rooms and suites are perhaps worth looking...

All in all, a fantastic experience. Welcoming and helpful hosts, cosy and well decked out rooms, and added extras like a canape and wine happy hour (all complimentary). In addition is the excellent breakfast in the dining room with commanding views of Queenstown's lake. Wonderful stuff. The house is also just a short hop away (albeit a steep one!) from...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Queenstown House for 6 nights at the end of May. The accommodation itself was delightful. The views - whether from the bedroom or breakfast room - truly sensational. The breakfasts were brilliant - very generous and varied. The pre-dinner canapes and wines were a genuine highlight, with a fabulous array...

A gorgeous warm welcoming place run by a lovely lady called Louis. The accommodation is beautifully located with an excellent view from all sides. Just about a 5 minutes scenic walk from downtown. Louis goes out of her way to make you comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great spot to stay in Queenstown; friendly hosts, awesome breakfasts with wonderful view), (very happy) evening happy hours with local wines and canapés. Comfortable place to stay and highly recommended. (Great source of local travel advice, by the way.) It's walking distance to downtown QT but take the owner's advice and choose the gentler path back up the hillside. Loved...

We started a month long holiday here. Queenstown is very attractive and the views from the B&B are impressive. The welcome was warm and our host did everything to make our, and everyone else's, stay comfortable. Breakfasts were a highlight and the evening get together for drinks and nibbles a treat!

We have stayed at many boutique establishments around the world. Queenstown House is as good as they get. It's hard not to sound gushy but there is nowhere else to consider if staying in Queenstown. Loiuise's welcome, the rooms, the view, the breakfasts and the afternoon get together with Louise, her staff and all the other guests make Queenstown House...

Glad you enjoyed yourselves. Sadly being in the Southern Alps, one needs to climb every mountain to achieve a great view and another memorable bite !! We do suggest the longer stroll up via the magical Queenstown Gardens, or there is no shame in taking the NZ$8 taxi, why wouldnt you ?? I prefer this way home after a hearty...

I had read very good reviews and was not the least bit disappointed. My room overlooked both the lake and the mountain. The free laundry...

Thankyou for choosing to stay with us and taking the time to enjoy what we offer, I discourage stays of one night as guests do not have the opportunity to really take in what Queenstown is about, clearly you must have been here a few days to absorb the surrounds. Being in the Southern Alps there are hills to climb,...
