The Whistler apartments provide comfortable mid range accommodation in a good location. We had a one bedroom apartment which looked towards the gondola. It is right on a main road so can be a little bit noisy but the road is quiet at night and our bedroom was at the back of the apartment away from the road so this...

We stay in a one-bedroom apartment that overlook the gondola. There experience there was wonderful, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Free 1GB Wifi during our stay, heating pad for the bed, dishwasher and even a washing machine!! The Whistler even has a deal with the green taxi company to...

Hotel is located near to downtown, and the gondola. No elevators and by the time I had lugged two 20 plus kg suitcases to my room on the 3rd level, I was panting like nobody's business. Room comes with a kitchen and is good if you want to cook and avoid having over-priced meals in the town centre. Car parking...

Lovely place. Location is perfect. You can explore Queenstown on foot from here. The apartments are big with separate living and sleeping area, and the bathroom in between. The latter even has a washing machine, which is great. Also a shout out for Wayne. He is an amazing host. Couldn't ask for a better one.

All of the rooms here face a busy street whether you are looking at it or not, so do not expect to open your patio door and hear anything other than traffic going by. The space was large but the bed was the most uncomfortable ever. You could feel the springs! When we tried to discuss this with the manager...

It’s disappointing to read your review especially from guests that are in the same industry. As you would appreciate with a reception full of guests all checking out at the same time, I’m sorry if you felt I could not give your “constructive criticism” my full attention. It was not my intention to make you feel like you were being...

The apartment is close and easy walking distance to town and there is a grocery store just two blocks away. Jan and Wayne are very friendly and welcoming hosts who offered great advice about the areas sights, shops, and restaurants. The kitchen is well-equipped with utensils, dishes, pots/pans, cleaning supplies, microwave, and stove-top. There were several enhancements unique to this...

We began our 5-week trip in NZ in Queenstown and The Whistler was a great choice. We stayed two nights before taking two of the Great Walks (The Milford and Routeburn tracks); and then another night after our return one week later. Wayne was very welcoming and helpful during our stays. Our luggage was stored at the secured reception office...

The apartment was comfortable, extra towels, bedding, great shower and right near the town and supermarket. Then you have wonderful hosts Wayne and Jan who genuinely take time to look after you and do everything possible to make your stay memorable. The best apartment we had during our 3 week visit to NZ. We enjoyed our 8 night stay at the Whistler. The apartment was well equipped & although we had hired a car , the location allowed us to meander into town in the morning without the hassle of parking.( I would recommend a second comfy armchair in the living room area for 2 guests. )Linen & towels were quality items, &...

Located within an easy 5min walk to town, staying here meant we could return our rental car and explore Queenstown on foot. This is definitely the way to go considering there is such limited and rare parking in town. Staying here you're close to everything you need, and as it's self-catering it's convenient that there's two supermarkets within close proximity...

Thanks for your comprehensive review of our property and five stars!! We are pleased you found the apartment to your liking and us both welcoming and friendly. With your apartment being on the lower floor there is less light into the bedroom, however with big sliding doors to the living area there is plenty of light in the lounge. The...
