I can't thank the team enough for making our stay one out of the box. The hotel itself is amazing and beautiful but the people surpass it. The breakfast, the added room extras , the location, the spacious rooms all added to a great stay. A perfect place to see in our wedding anniversary/birthdays. Thanks everyone

I truly thought I had written a review for this hotel - clearly I didnt and as I am about to revisit the place again next week I think its timely to do one. We LOVED our time here. Three nights in the Deluxe Suite. Cosy and warm, quiet, massively comfortable bed and some great treats as well. Breakfast was served at the restaurant next door and I have to say that was brilliant on each occasion. The staff in both places was sensational and they certainly made us feel welcome. Great location too. Dont stay anywhere else in Queenstown!

We enjoyed our three night stay in this central hotel over new year. Ideal if you haven’t got a car as it’s in the main shopping area within walking distance to the majority of attractions on offer. The room was well appointed and super clean with comfortable beds and chairs. Our room on the third floor(top floor) had views of the mountains beyond the lake. Our room was street facing and we expected noise on new year. A beautiful breakfast was served at the sister hotel on the lakefront. Staff were helpful and the new year hospitality was a welcome addition to our stay. We highly recommend this quality hotel.

From online booking to checking in and out - a very smooth process. The staff we met were all extremely helpful and unfailingly happy, It would have been a 5 star rating but for the minor glitch of the turn down service leaving the suite door open one night which we discovered when we returned that evening. However that was minor. The suite was stunning and very comfortable. Breakfasts were wonderful - truly a great way to start the day. Thanks for a lovely four days - our first break since COVID hit.

The Spire Hotel is a luxurious boutique hotel in a prime location. Everything about this hotel was superb and top quality. Staff All their staff were warm, friendly and approachable. They took such good care of me and were very attentive and helpful. No task was too small and any queries or requests were responded to quickly. Room I stayed in Room 10 which overlooked the Church, and I found it very restful. I specifically requested a quiet room and this delivered. The room was enormous. By far the biggest hotel room I have stayed in, in NZ. The design details were incredible. The chaise lounge and the leather chair were immensely comfortable. I spent more time there sometimes than the bed! But the bed was amazing. Huge fluffy pillows (you can make personal pillow requests), beautiful white expensive linen and an enormous bed to myself. You couldnt ask for more. The gas fireplace was a godsend in winter as was the central heating. I loved the addition of a separate luggage/wardrobe area. It meant my luggage and clothes could be out of sight and not ruin the room's aesthetic. Similarly the shower and toilet are kept well out of sight. The shower pressure was incredible. It was like having a massage in my own bathroom! And I dont know how they are able to keep the shower box so well enclosed but there was no misting from my excessively long showers at all! I loved the Molton Brown toiletries and made plenty of use out of them as well as the complimentary bath salts for long soaks while watching TV! I struggled to get through my complimentary mini bar but I made a decent effort of trying to finish all the snacks every day! There are essentially two lots of housekeeping, one during the day and a turn down service at night where they fluff the pillows, replace the towels, minibar etc and leave delicious fudge. It was heaven. All hotels should do two lots of housekeeping! Dining I didnt get a chance to fine at no5 Church Lane as it had reduced hours due to COVID-19. Breakfasts were served at The Grille at Eichardts and was the only disappointing part of my trip but thats on them and not The Spire! The Spire sets the bar for Queenstown hotels very very high and I cant wait to be back. Thanks so much for all your hospitality and service. You have a fabulous hotel.
