Couldn't recommend this lodge more! I stayed here for 10 days with friends and we were looked after very well! Owners are fantastic! We spent many afternoons out in the garden having a few drinks watching the breath taking view!

Booked the 2 bed apartment for 8 days while visiting family in Queenstown. The location is very good and only about 5-10 mins walk down the hill to town, and about 10-15 mins back. Walk up the hill was not beyond our physical abilities (couple in our 50s) and we enjoyed the daily exercise. If you don't fancy the walk...

My husband and I stayed at Balmoral for 6 nights and it was really lovely. The apartment was serviced daily and was very clean. I liked the 'extra' touches - muffins on arrival, washing powder in the laundry and clean dressing gowns in the wardrobe. The ground floor apartment was spacious and the Internet was very reliable. The gardens are...

We were extremely impressed with the spacious 2 bedroom apartment up on the hill overlooking the most amazing views that Queenstown offers. It has its own front garden with beautiful roses and the best grass in town!! We stayed here for 10 nights and it felt like home, the bed was even better than ours at home, we have never...

We stayed for 3 nights in the downstairs 2-bedroom apartment with beautiful views. Housekeeping and linen replacement was done each day. Washer and dryer was available as well which was extremely handy. A clothes airer or string line under the decking would be the cherry on top. Sis, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly. The price was suitable for...

If it's privacy and your own space you want without the price tag, this is the place! Bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. From a green perspective, place could be better insulated but very warm. Fantastic views and owners are lovely!

“Though close to town this apartment is not somewhere I'd walk to/from unless you liked steep hill climbing. With a mix-aged group - there were five in our group - it was nice to have the youngest child sleeping close by in the living room while the adult kids had their own separate space. The bed in the living room was sooooo comfy but it did limit the living space for the family. Separate ensuite for the master suite was brilliant.”
