Gilly welcomed us with open arms and wonderful hospitality. Her home is spotless, modern, luxurious and incredibly comfortable. In addition to the wonderful lodging, Gilly helped us plan hikes, meals, and activities in Fjordland and beyond. Top this all off with a fantastic breakfast; why would you stay anywhere else? Gilly's the best!

Gilly made us feel welcomed and pampered from the time we set foot in Bella Rosa. Fresh fruit and pastries were in constant abundance with an ample supply of wine, beer, coffee, and tea which are included. The accommodations were neat and spotless. Breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, and muffins. To top it off, Gilly packed excellent box lunches...

We recently visited Gill at her Te Anau B and B and were pleasantly impressed. As soon as we arrived it was coffee and muffins which were yum. We were also given more muffins for our drive to Milford sound. Gill had already booked us into the best local restaurants just in case we were interested and then organised tickets...

It doesn't get any better than this if you enjoy staying at a small B and B with an emphasis on personalized service and comfort! Gill is an amazing host, and she has a lovely home to share as the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure. She can also help you plan and book your activities, which...

Gill was our absolute favorite B&B! And we'd stayed at many throughout the north and South Island. It felt like we were staying with a family member, we felt very comfortable and cozy. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was amazing! The packed lunches Gill made for us were delicious also. We sure miss her and Coco!

The accommodation itself is comfortable for the two nights we were there. We had cheese plate and drinks on arrival. Breakfast for us consisted of muffins, fruit and cereal with tea and coffee. We also had a lunch put together for us when we went to Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound, which was helpful as there are not much...

Host was very attentive and helpful, kind enough to provide tips and to recommend restaurants. Complimentary drinks and cheese plate provided upon arrival, home-made blueberry muffins were quite delicious. Beautiful house and quite comfortable bed. All the efforts and hospitality were much appreciated. Didn't like the shared bathroom though.

Many thanks for your review and kind words. Pleased that you enjoyed staying at Bella Rosa, and apologise that you were not happy with the shared bathroom facilities. Whilst most of the guests know that the bathroom and toilet is shared this has not been an issue and the facilities are well appointed and maintained throughout the stay. Shared facilities...

Thank you Gilly for opening your house to us. Your hospitality was impeccable and we really enjoyed it ... especially the wine and cheese each afternoon. I guess the only thing I'm not used to is sharing a bathroom .... you get to an age :) Suggestions for dining were also appreciated.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at bella rosa b&b with a very nice landlady and a gorgeous breakfest! We almost felt like at home and we got quite a lot of helpful information regarding our trips to the fiords.

We visited back in July 2016 and really appreciated the recommendations about what to see in Te Anau while we were there, as well as booking tours at Milford Sound for us. We loved the Fiordland film shown at the local cinema, which we wouldn't have heard about otherwise. Would definitely stay again if returning to Te Anau.
