Lovely suite, very spacious, clean well presented rooms with everything you need. We enjoyed our beautifully cooked breakfast. Very friendly and professional service. Will go back to stay again. We really enjoyed the spa after a long day hiking. The Lodge was very relaxing and loved sitting by the open fire with a glass of wine. Gorgeous!

We had a wonderful time staying at Dock Bay near the beginning of our 6 week tour of New Zealand. When Dawn opened the door of the Lodge I couldn't believe how beautiful the house was and the view was absolutely the best we have had from any hotel. The rooms are large, modern and very comfortable, with well stocked...

Sue and I stayed two nights at the lodge. A great experience. We had a large two room suite with two balconies. The refrigerator was stocked with beer, soft drinks and water. What a nice touch. The breakfasts were cooked to order. We even walked out the back and onto the golf course one afternoon and played a round with...

A perfect B&B. Purpose built with 5 wonderful suites all with sitting rooms and balconies. Not too big to loose the atmosphere of a B&B but can provide 5* facilities such as gym, sauna and spa. All rooms with wonderful panorama. Beautifully kept grounds. Dawn makes you most welcome and will ensure all your little needs met. Breakfast equal to...

Thank you for taking the time to write your review, it is really appreciated. It was a shame you were only here for one night as it didn't give you enough time to relax and enjoy Fiordland, but don't forget Sydney is not that far away. Take Care.

It's hard to top some of the previous comments, so all we can do is echo them. Dawn and Mark have built a delightful, elegant, comfortable home that their lucky guests can share. Nothing is too much trouble, Dawn did our washing, fixed up a great boat ride and organised yet another fabulous fiord land walk for us. Breakfasts are...

We have stayed in seven excellent B&B's and two outstanding hotels during our visit to this spectacular country. Dock Bay Lodge is unequivocally the best of a very good bunch. The lodge is set on a beautifully landscaped property overlooking the gorgeous lake and mountains. There are no other buildings anywhere in sight to detract from the view. The lodge...

This was our third stay with Mark and Dawn - they could not be more hospitable and accomodating. From arrival to departure, nothing was too much trouble. I only wish we had been able to stay longer , to enjoy the comfort, the view and the great breakfast!

We stayed in Dock Bay lodge with a large group. The owner, Ms.Dawn was a perfect host catering to many of our unusual requests. She organised private helicopter trips of the Fiord National park and private boat rides in Mapouri lake & to Milford sound, Night sky watch with a telescope and local astronomer . We had taken all the...

Great hosts. Start the day with a great breakfast and return at night to a beautiful view from the comfort of your well appointed rooms. Best place to base yourself if you are exploring lakes Te Anau and Manapouri and the South West Fiordland area. Or begin and end the Kepler track walk here.

We couldn't have started our holiday in a more perfect place. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, comfortable rooms, nice living space and great views over Lake Te Anau, but what makes Dock Bay Lodge stand out is the hospitality of Dawn and Mark. They welcomed us in their house, and made sure our stay was beyond perfect. I can recommend...
