I went with a friend who had been given two nights accommodation as a gift by family members, we only lasted 40 minutes and we high tailed it out of there. It was like a scene from the movie "Deliverance" ....deserted homestead, dirty, dingy and creepy. Can not think of even one nice thing to say about this property. Our...

The review mentioned refers to a period of time when I (Geoff the owner) was abroard on holidays. Casual staff were employed at that time. Upon my return I found the property in a discusting condition which was upsetting to say the least for me. As a result of the condition the casual staff were summarily dismissed and I have...

We have a weekend away at least every month... And, my poor husband saw this as a romantic weekend away. And, the website does look beautiful! Upon driving through the driveway, we were led to the old long tin shed at the back and asked to park near the caravan... Geoffrey was there to greet us and warn us about...

Don't do it. Misled by the owner who said rooms were lovely!! Didn't even stay there as it was far to dirty. 200/night hardly cheap. Website is nothing like it. Worst place I have ever been to would definitely not recommend this to anyone.

I also used a livingsocial voucher and recently stayed in the Honeymoon Suite (a single room with ensuite) for two nights with my husband. This room is located inside the house itself and the only entry and exit point is via french doors that have a large gap between them. They open onto the main kitchen/dining area where everyone who...

Like others, we also had a Living Social deal and were also told the Honeymoon suite was unavailable and were offered the “lovely self-contained Tranquility suite” for an extra $50. Since the deal had included a cooked breakfast and a bottle of wine, we took it. Upon arrival, we were shown to an old nissen hut, which had one end...

I booked a deal online to stay here. It looked good on paper:log fire, double bed, ensuite... all in a lovely location. When I contacted Wagon Wheels Retreat I was told that the deal was only for one specific room, and that it is unavailable on all weekends I was considering (any in August or September). I was then told...

Don't believe the website. Maybe in a bygone era, but not now. We got a coupon from Living Social and thought we were in for a treat. We were supposed to get the homeymoon suite, which was booked out for months, and so we opted for the luxury completely separate room with a jacuzzi at an extra cost. The room...

I may say that it was a lovely location but barnyard room is quite a disappointment because there's unfinished project going on the room and they let us stay there which I feel that there's safety issue.no smoke alarm and main door is locked with garage door and floors are dusty ,slept in an old bed where you can feel...

I stayed at Wagon Wheels, Stanwell Tops NSW last night. The staff were very accommodating about having an early check-in at 1.00pm as my boyfriend and I had a function to attend at 2.00pm at Coalcliff. We had a totally relaxing stay, the 'Tranquility Suite" was lovely and private and part of an historical soldier's bunker from World War 2...
