We stayed two nights at Marple Lodge while attending a wedding in Bathurst. We can only echo the positive comments made by others. Luxurious décor, with everything on hand to make guests feel at home. Welcoming, lovely hosts Katy & Bruce couldn't do enough. We are now looking for another excuse to visit again!

Set just outside Bathurst and more focussed on the self-catering market, this is awesome accommodation and super clean. Katy is very friendly and the breakfast (supplied) is more than adequate. Please note that there are 3 rooms, a kitchen and a lounge, which makes it feel very homely. This property is for the quiet discerning guest.

We stayed in Marple Lodge just for one night...and we were so glad that we found this place! It was just a shame that we couldn't have stayed longer. Beautiful, modern accommodation, spacious, clean and private. The bathrooms are luxurious with the best soft white towels. Katy and Bruce are very welcoming and friendly and have thought of everything. We will definately be back next time we are in town.

We were a group of 5 who stayed here recently for a tennis tournament in Bathurst. The luxuriously-appointed house is set within a new housing estate on the outskirts of Bathurst. It is in a quiet area, and less than 10minutes to the town centre.
It is listed as a B & B, in that it is a completely separate section of the owners house, cordoned off by large double doors. But frankly speaking, it really is like a house within itself: massive lounge/living area; a double wash-basin/vanity "island"; separate toilet, huge bathroom; 3 double bedrooms, and a small kitchen/laundry area. Due to our early-start for tennis, we chose to ask for breakfast provisions instead of eating with the owners, and were provided with bread, cakes, milk, cereals, and juice.
It has central heating (much needed as it was in the minus-temperatures when we were there!) so was lovely and warm. Beds were wonderful, and all living areas spotless and luxurious.
There is also a decent sized yard for the kids to rumble in: & the owners were very accommodating to the boys having a few games on the lawn.
You will LOVE this place: you cannot go wrong, and the rate was very reasonable (we paid $190 for 5 people, including breakfast provisions)... We will back for the next round of tennis! :)

We stayed at Marple Lodge over the Queen's Birthday long weekend and were glad we chose this place.
Katy and Bruce (the host) were very friendly and treated us very well during our stay - and made us feel like we were home!
The house is just a short 5 minutes drive from downtown Bathurst and has wonderful amenities - including a comfortable sofa set that everyone fell in love with, as well as nice bedrooms and bathrooms. It was clear that the host were proud homeowners as the house was immaculate and well furnished.
Katy (the host) also makes wonderful tasty pancakes for our breakfast, which we fell in love quickly. When all of us wanted eggs, she quickly prepared them for us- even though it was not in the menu for the day! Good breakfast indeed.
There is a large backyard with a trampoline and a whole box of toys which my son thoroughly enjoyed. This is a good place for large family with children - as the host are accomodating towards kids and there is ample place to run around. There are also many rooms which can fit the family
Bruce and Katy are one of the best B&B hosts we have met in all our travels (we travel alot!) - and took every trouble to make all of us feel welcomed. Definitely highly recommended. 5 star B&B without a doubt!

When we arrived we were greeted by the owners and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Katy had made us muffins they were amazing the place was clean and very comfortable would recommend it

We had a wonderful stay! 5 adults ,inviting large family room with comfy leather lounges all you need The bathroom set up is great , 2nd toilet. Also a open powder nook with double sinks great for the girls , which you have to see.Tranquil location,light bright & clean, the parking off street which I always like too.

We were lucky enough to get Marple Lodge for the V8s this year. It is an incredibly comfortable and spacious home and fit all seven of us perfectly well. Katy and Bruce are so friendly and every possible visitor need is catered for. I highly recommend it, and I'm planning a return visit in the near future.

Katy and Bruce should be extremely proud of their beautiful property! The service provided was perfect at every touch point. Our family came to Bathurst for our daughter's graduation and only stayed one night - we all wished it could have been longer so now we will have to make up an excuse to return. The decor is beautiful and so much space for a family. Everything you would need, and more. Thank you Katy and Bruce, even though it was short and sweet, we had a beautiful time.

It is hard to find accommodation for our family of 6. Marple Lodge is just like having a home away from home. The kids loved that there were outside and inside games provided (as I'd forgotten to pack ours), so thanks very much. Heaps of outside room for them to play around in as well - perfect for boys!!
