Stayed the night with friends. While raining it still had awesome views across Bathurst. Very quiet area with the odd hoon around the Mount Panorama track. Abundance of wildlife around the grounds and only a short drive into town. Will be back again.

Bathurst Goldfields offers a variety of accommodation and meal packages for the Bathurst 1000. We stayed in the motel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Friendly and accommodating staff. We added 3 extra days on top of the package. The motel rooms have a kettle and bar fridge with cups and glasses. Each floor has a shared kitchen with a microwave, crockery and cultery. The motel overlooks farmland and the city of Bathurst and our room had a little patio where you can watch the kangaroos, rabbits and birds in the paddock. The meals included in the package were great. Full buffet breakfast and dinner/dessert. Heaps of tasty, well cooked food and the set up to feed all the people staying was well run. Meal times suited the track times as well. The location for the Bathurst 1000 is fabulous. A short drive down the back road and you are on the track and going against most of the traffic. We were also able to enter the track precinct at Forest Elbow from the gate just behind the motel. This allowed us to walk on track on non-race days. On race days you can walk around the top of the mountain and get the shuttle bus down to the pit/paddock area. Would highly recommend for any of the Mt Panorama events. Contact early as this places fills up.

We went down to Bathurst for Challenge Bathurst this year and needed some accommodation - we were recommended Bathurst Goldfields and it was awesome for what we needed which was a clean room with 4 beds and a shower - helpful staff and all amenities were available. Fresh linen was available to help yourself if needed and there was a kitchen facility if you wanted to cook something up. it is a short drive back to the circuit whilst Conrod Straight is shut but still as close as a house nearby the circuit. Enough room for us to turn the car trailer around and store it there at the motel. if what you want is a bed and clean room at an affordable price definitely a great place to stay. The outlook in the mornings is fantastic slightly elevated looking over the area
