Spent a few nights here. Staff are lovely. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Emptied our bins every day, checked towel supply etc. Beds have electric blankets and rooms have reverse cycle air con. Also offer a $5 continental breakfast or breakfast made to order in the breakfast room. Only negative was could have done with heating in the bathroo
The water was brown coming out of the tap and we couldnt get the kettle into the sink to boil water. Also, no one enforced the non Smoking rule so there were people smoking and the smoke came into our rooms. Therer was also no one at reception at 7pm when the reception hours was advertised as up to 9pm. The rooms are all noisy as they face the highway and there is some annoying roosters out the back that crow from 630am every morning.
We highly recommend this hotel. We were treated with such kindness and care when we thought our car had broken down in Bathurst. The manager offered to stay back after hours to ensure we could check un if necessary.
We stayed for 2 nights, with our 2 small dogs. The room had a lovely fresh feel ... white bedding and curtains, and creamy white walls. We slept very well on the super comfortable bed, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The staff were very friendly. Quite the best motel experience we’ve had.
This motel is well located, well priced and run by Tsoupis family who also own the motel across the road. Pet friendly, very helpful staff and well priced. The 60s motel has been kept up to date. See early pics of Bob Jane staying here after his 1964 win in Bathurst Armstrong 500 now Bathurst 1000.
