The staff were well versed in the history of the and were helpful and cooperative, the food was pub food. The restaurant stated that it opened at 5 pm but at 5:50 the lady was telling us that we still needed to wait another 5 minutes never got to the bottom of that as we went to the front bar...

Stayed at the Palace hotel for Easter weekend. It is an old hotel from the 1800' s but well maintained. It has all the looks and feels from the Priscilla movie and the buzz of staying at a pub. Accomodation is simple but very clean and comfortable. Restaurant lacks on dish options for dinner and there isnt breakfast service. Book...

Absolutely beautiful hotel serving over priced food. Pork belly was meant to be crispy but was like a sheet of leather and the soft shell crab were soggy. Still riding the wave of Pricilla Queen of the desert with the movie playing in the background. Stop in for a beer but I'd recommend eating somewhere else.

Rooms very old and very basic. Price was cheap, enjoyed the wide verandah balconies, but not the cockroaches in the bathroom. Bed was very old and creaky. Noise from hotel bar directly below rooms. . Overall rate this hotel as Ok for short stay.

I had dinner at their bar and stayed in one of the rooms. Its was on one of the hottest weekends in NSW and the aircon was a welcome addition to the room I wasn't quite expecting for the price. They have a really BIG shoe with heels 👠 called the Broken Heel.. haha. Even their bar has a number...

Stayed in a camp site in Broken Hill and went into town on Friday night with another couple we had met. Fantastic food in very interesting Aussie pub. Boisterous but friendly locals added to an exciting night, topped off with game of 2up (strange Aussie gambling game only played in BH and Kalgoorlie - allegedly - haha). Recommended!

What a great concept to cover this pub in art. It's such a wonderful looking old pub and the beer is cold the balcony view at sunset is pretty dam good too. The rooms are a little dated but it's the outback and Priscilla was queen here some 20 years ago. Like all princess she's left her glitter shoe behind,so...

We only stopped by and had a few drinks, but we wished we'd stayed in the rooms once we saw this place! There are paintings everywhere on the walls and ceilings (and good ones at that) - an amazing story and talent. Add that to the history of the film Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, and it's really cool to...

great meal no fuss and didn't have to wait for long period of time. It was served as asked and a smiling face. The Chardonney was cold and refreshing. The prices were within reason and this was the most beautifully cooked meal Ive had in Broken Hill for awhile.

Full of the expected paintings, this place is definitely kitschy, but much cooler than I expected it would be. All very mid-century modern, with plenty of wines, cocktails and beers on tap. But just one tip to the folks running the place: Priscilla was filmed 22 years ago now - it's time to move on. This is a really cool...
