We sent 11 of our aged care residents from Sydney to visit Dubbo Zoo, with staff, and they stayed here. The care and service shown to our residents and staff was outstanding. Staff were very helpful, gracious and supportive and went well beyond their jobs in their treatment of our residents. The facilities were clean and well maintained and the...

The room was big but quite dated. It was clean enough, and the bedding was fresh. The beds were very soft and it was hard to sleep without sinking into the middle. The shower is a needle-like water saver which was virtually intolerable. I found it strange that housekeeping did not replenish the toiletry supplied during room servicing. We were...

No hairdryer in the room, breakfast very ordinary, bar fridge had a very loud hum-and-rattle effect (I ended up unplugging it for the night), all of these are very minor issues but overall I...

We had an excellent night's sleep- the beds are very comfortable, rooms are spacious and the air conditioner quiet and efficient. Only downside was the lack of hairdryers in the rooms. They are available from reception on request.

My wife and myself spent two nights( a Sunday & Monday at the Macquarie Inn, we had a Groupon voucher for bed and breakfast. On arrival we were welcomed and given vouchers for two welcoming drinks and four vouchers for 2 for one meals at...
