If you need a stay for one night while on road trip, it's ok for that. It's an average highway motel with distant staff and clean enough rooms. It is in need of renovation as everything feels and smells old.

First impressions usually count and the gentleman at the reception was most polite and friendly. The motel is just South of Grafton and we found it quiet. The beds were very comfortable and the room exceptionally clean. The bathroom was a good size and very clean. I liked the configuration as it's different than the usual. This was for two adults, mother and daughter. It's a little dated but that didn't bother us at all as it was so clean and tidy.

The Espana Motel, Grafton was recommended to us as a good clean well-maintained motel. We planned to stop overnight on our way to Sydney following my husband's medical procedure in Brisbane. His procedure was delayed by several hours and it was obvious we could not reach Grafton as planned. A call to the owner/manager was all it took to have our booking cancelled at such short notice was to explain our genuine situation. The fact that the owner/manager was so helpful and pleasant was very much appreciated. We are grateful to him as we had to book else in Brisbane overnight and return to our journey the next day. It says a lot about any manager at a motel, particularly a country hotel, that they treat their customers so well. We will stay at the Espana Motel on another occasion and we recommend it for the owner's understanding and courtesy. If you are reading this at the Espana Motel, thank you again so much.…

Clean typical motel room in country town of South Grafton, NSW. Good for our one night stay. May need a bigger room if you wish to stay longer. Comfortable bed, no sofa. Bathroom desperately need exhaust fan !

This is a motel from the 70s that has been well maintained, updated where necessary and has new owners with big smiles where nothing is too much to ask. Most importantly the beds are comfortable, firm and in excellent condition.

Stayed 3 nights June 21. Comfortable clean room. Checkin and staff very friendly. Laundry available for customers much appreciated. Comfortable bed. Microwave and fridge in room. Toaster would have been good. Noise from next rooms can be heard but overall a good stay.

We stopped over for a night on the way to Tweed Heads as a family and this motel is conveniently situated on the main road but is very quiet. Room was decent in size and modestly clean. Kids loved the pool and pool towels are provided. Toilet had a small problem but there were ones outside just in case they weren’t fixed in time. Close to city centre and we’ll priced.

I purchased a Twin Room online upon entering Grafton to help my aging mother 83 1 Queen Bed and 1 Twin Bed and was rudley treated when I mentioned my mother and two sons 6 & 8 were staying. Man couldn't speak English clearly and was abrupt without being clear... I travel internationally and interstate monthly and would not recommend. The highway motel Just across the road was extremely pleasant.

What an excellent stay. We booked in for an overnight stop on our way from Port Macquarie to Brisbane. The guy in reception was very cheerful and friendly, even checking our room as we arrived to make sure that all was well dinner in the restaurant couldn’t be faulted and there is a bar on site as well. The whole complex is spotlessly clean, possible the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. If we need a motel in Grafton again, we won’t even bother looking, we will go straight back here.

Glad to have stopped here room and set up was good there were cheaper motel's but this was good and had a Restaurant? .Went to go for dinner open's at 6pm ,it wasn't open at 6:10 ,guess what they lost our business there .
