This is right on Stockton Beach and just a short ferry ride to Newcastle Harbour. I have been here several times. There is a breakwater to walk down and a nice cafe near the caravan park. The amenities are always clean.

Yes you can. Get train to Newcastle then take the 5 min Ferry trip across to Stockton then an easy 15 min walk up to the park.
