This trip to Caves beach is worth every second of travel. We arrived there before sunset and rewarded by the magnificent view of the sunset. The beach is entirely unique amongst other beaches I've been to different countries and in Australia. The rocks formation are very distinctive and the soft beautiful sand. Travellers can get inside the cave to marvel...

We arrived at round 7pm with our two children 1 and 6. The staff were very nice letting me know all the info I needed. The building outside is beautiful but inside it needs a lot of work! It's very scrappy and unkempt. The room itself wasn't clean enough for two children who get into everything and the window was...

I had a day in Newcastle between bus trips and needed somewhere to store my bag. The woman at reception was so helpful in letting me use the luggage room free of charge (as it wasn't peak season) and allowing me to use all the facilities for the day. It's a lovely, old, wooden building with beautiful leather couches in...

Incredibly nice location, close to the markets and the beach, the hostel is clean and beautiful. The staff is incredibly Friendly (and can speak German, yay) and the Atmosphere is just amazing. A real Backpacker haven!! The lounge room is beautiful and really vintage, the free WiFi is also very fast and a nice addition to the overall greatness!

I've stayed here on many occasions & can highly recommend staying here at this 'home away from home'. It's a very friendly place to stay with fantastic staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. They are there to make sure you have a wonderful stay. There's a couple of free BBQs every week, a movie night with popcorn &...

A wonderful find, within walking distance from the train station and the beach. Old world type of hostel. Clean, good beds, good facilities. As an older traveler I felt welcome and right at home. Very convenient if you want to make your own meals

Could just see the water from my window! Could not be closer to the beach. The hostel itself was a charming old building. The kitchen was boring and rather small but the common room made up for it. Rooms clean and everything in working order. Staff were good - there was a troublesome guest who woke up everyone at 2am...

Perfectly suitable for what we needed - two night stay on the way up the coast. Very clean, good beds, great location and big common and kitchen areas. Lots of local info and tips too, and staff all friendly and informative. Social evenings good fun.

Hi guys, Great hostel and location! Only the receptionist Sarah was very unfriendly! I couldn't find my key directly and all she kept saying was you need to pay, what's your name, you need to pay, what's your name on and on..! Not even a friendly smile or even asking how my stay was. I was like chill relax the...

Laid back, tidy, quiet hostel. Great central location a stones throw from cafes and beaches. Perfect for surfers who want a quiet night to crash after a day out in the surf. Simple but well maintained dormitory rooms and shared kitchen facilities. Appropriate for all ages.
