A great family stay, central to the harbour and and honeysuckle. The room was lovely and clean, staff most accomodating, my only issue was no King beds and there queen ones are getting a little tired. The breakfast is amazing and dinner was as well.

Hotel is of really good quality. Room was spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. Nice bars and restaurants within a short walk. Breakfast organization does not quite match the hotel class: with approx. 50 guests in the breakfast room long waiting for a coffee, fried eggs served at room temperature, fried bacon and tomato in the buffet were cold. When...

What a great experience for a first time visit and stay in Newcastle. The Staff were very efficient and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and the views to the working harbour were both scenic and calming. I could have stayed at the window all day watching the activity on the harbour. Stayed over night and was most impressed at a variety of levels. Courteous, friendly, efficient and numerous staff. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Great views over aspects of the working harbour. Really enjoyed the Lovedale Lager served at the bar. Buffet breakfast was outstanding. Certainly up there with the best I have had. Seldom have I had a...

We recently stayed on a Saturday night as a quick getaway from Sydney. All in all we had a great stay. Fairly cheap at $200-$250per night but it is in Newcastle and it is completely outdated. service was ok nothing to write home about. Room service was also ok. The bar was ok, service was fairly poor due to the two dudes working who seemed to be having bromance moments on the regular.
