Agree with all above - close to beach and clean enough. But can hear people in next room. Good for one night only and not revisiting - not worth the dollars. Un-manned reception interesting. Car parking arrangements interesting had to use the street.

The old Novocastrian has been reborn with a new, and appropriate name, and is in the process of renovation. The owners have opted for a low cost model which keeps prices very competitive, give the wonderful location. Some might find the lack of a key or pass disconcerting but actually being emailed a one-time code to access the carpark, building...

We chose to stay here as it was a good price and convenient. I didn't like when I rang to find out about parking the woman told me there wasn't any and rudely reminded me that our check-in was at 2, I didn't need reminding, I was asking about parking. The room was big and clean, unfortunately no microwave. And...

Good position but terrible amenities. Key-less entry so no reception and no telephone in room hope no-one gets taken ill and needs assistance. Room did not have a microwave and I did not like getting up to rush out and find somewhere to have breakfast, no clock/radio or bedside tables.Would not re-visit or recommend

This hotel is clean and tidy. Staff are pleasant and helpful. But think about parking as this hotel does not have any, and all street parking is paid for in 2 hour blocks from 9am to 9pm, 7 days a week.

Nice location in that it was only 5 minute walk to the beach BUT definitely not what I would call a four star hotel. Here are some of the issues we encountered: - Tried to call back the number that texted for the booking confirmation and got someone in Zambia ! ? - Poor state of disrepair (carpets are very...

Read all the reviews here we went with no expectation. The stay turned out pretty pleasant. Yes you get the code to get inside and into the room and that's totally alright with us (our code works). On arrival I called to request for car park and the call was answered right away. Needed a credit card to pay for...

I'd stay here again, nothing fancy, clean and cheap. Close to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Walk to mall and foreshore. Good spot - no complaints 😊 No staff, a code to get door. I didn't mind that - it was easy. The lift is being replaced so don't go if you can't handle stairs...it'll be fixed soon!

Whilst the rooms are adequate and relatively clean. It is unnerving to arrive at a motel , enter your e-mail PIN code to enter the car park, then to repeat the process to access your room. Bummer if your mobile goes flat. It's a good location and the price is fair for what you get.
