If I could give this hotel 6 stars, I would. The hotel totally exceeded our expectations. It’s brand new so very clean with a beautiful decor, the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows, absolute dream! All the staff very super professional and friendly. The waitress who served our breakfast was especially lovely. Both breakfasts we had were absolutely delicious, can’t fault anything. Maybe the only slight downside was that the hotel is a little out of town (about 3-5 km), but it wasn’t a big deal for us.
We stayed two nights, beds are great and the rooms are spacious and clean. Would stay again Only negative is you must tell them when you will be in breakfast room, maybe not many people in hotel so they need to organise a brekkie room attendant to make sure we are good to eat.
Well appointed, clean rooms with brand new super comfortable beds, and good internet. Fantastic on-site restaurant making the need to venture into town (which is a 5 minute or so drive away) unnecessary. In a town where a decent hotel room is hard to find, this is a winner!
I found this Hotel to be friendly and offered some nice touches such as fresh fruit in the lobby and a great breakfast. It was a little far from where I wanted to be but obviously placed to be close to the hospital which would be excellent if you needed to be there! Very expensive
We stayed at Remington for 2 nights. Being fairly new it was nice and fresh Ann’s clean thecstaff at reception, cleaning and restaurant were very friendly, cheerful and obliging. The room was clean and comfortable, hot water in the large shower which is easily walk in accessible . Breakfast on both mornings my bacon really nicely cooked, yoghurt was nicely presented.. I think a few minor points would make the restaurant go from good to great.. maybe on the scrambled eggs add garnish - a halved cherry tomato and sprig of parsley, the scrambled eggs didn’t have any flavour. I asked for jam for toast was told they had run out of jam - a fruit compote was substituted, good that a solution was offered but I wouldn’t expect them to run out of jam.my breakfast order on the second day was incorrect , the waitress was obliging in correcting it and pleasant also another was apologetic about forgetting my cup of tea. on rye first dayThe yoghurt dish and partners plate were not cleared from the table and were left there whilst we ate our main breakfast dis. The idea of 2 menus would be better if just one and less confusion. The manager/ maître D at one point on first morning at breakfast was chatting both arms crossed with a waitress, which appeared as just a friendly social chat, then next reading a paper or magazine, a bit too casual for me when you expect top behaviour at the room prices. It’s igood there is a positive feel in the restaurant and staff are happy and pleasant and obliging, and are friendly together and seem to know what to do and go about their tasks. , a little less could lead to more efficient service.Just these few little teething things if worked on make it first class.. maybe staff need to be a little less social together , needs toning down a bit, although positive can give a too casual feel, also it is better to call clients madam, sir rather than ‘ guys’ when addressing them , it is more professional. The location is a good 10-15 minute drive from Orange CBD and not close as the website stated. Parking was good and 2 entrances to the building convenient. It’s great to see a new hotel providing employment during COVID.…
