This well appointed stand alone cottage was perfect for our trip! A warm cosy fire, welcoming, knowledgeable hosts and well equipped for homemade meals and wonderful breakfasts. For a trip to the country, just outside Orange, this is a fantastic little cottage for a couple or small family. We stayed a little while ago but are certainly contemplating another visit!

I read another review that said it was five star accommodation in a tin shed. They were so right. The property is beautiful. The service was first class. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The weekend cooked breakfast was to die for. We would go back again in a heartbeat.

Our group of ten stayed here for three nights during the week and without exception everyone felt the accommodation and facilities were superb. Close to town yet with the feel of a country squire looking over his acreage, Black Sheep Inn is a tastefully converted and very well maintained shearing shed - very comfortable and full of character, with extensive...

Stayed for 2 nights in Whispering Moon Cottage and found it truly wonderful. Everything you could wish for to enjoy a peaceful few days in Orange, with the Cottage being quiet, extremely well provisioned, warm and comfortable. Communication from Helen prior to and during our stay was excellent, feel sure we'll be back.

My husband and I stayed at the BS Inn for three nights over the Sep/Oct long weekend. We could not have been happier with our suite and how comfortable it was. Helen has done a wonderful job restoring the Black Sheep Inn and the attention to detail is second to none. This beautifully maintained property is relaxing from the moment...

We 2 couples stayed 2 nights at the Black Sheep Inn in late winter. The location is gorgeous - misty country vistas, close to the city of Orange and surrounding wine growing areas. The accommodation is authentic, retaining the character and details of a sheep shearing 'shed', with all the comforts of home. The chutes and pens have been incorporated...

Visited Black Sheep Inn for four nights as part of four couples. What a wonderful place to stay. Set on a property approx 10klm out of town, it's a old shearing shed which has been done up into accommodation with five bedrooms, all with ensuites. Our host Helen was lovely with a great sense of humour. She made up feel...

We rented the Whispering Moon cottage at the Black Sheep Inn for a long weekend. Helen the host was delightful and helpful. The cottage is charming right in the middle of the country - big kitchen , fireplace , that escape to the country feel. The place is modern, bar the bathrooms that could do with a revamp. I also...

If you are looking for the WOW factor, look no further. You may have read other reviewers descriptions of the Inn so I won't repeat them. We were four couples who spent three nights there this week and the whole experience was excellent. Our lovely hostess, Helen, met us shortly after we arrived and explained the workings of the Inn,...

A group of friends rented the whole Black Sheep Inn 3 weeks ago for our annual wine trip. We are a group of people who enjoy the finer things in life, and our choice of accommodation is always the most important aspect of the trip. This year after much research, it was decided that we were going to stay at...
