Excellent value and everything you need to feel comfortable. Nice mini-kitchenette with everything needed for a night or two, plus a dvd player (and a nice selection of films to choose from) plus loads of games, etc. Staff couldn't have been nicer.
Villa Provence was first class. We stayed for two nights at the end of February and found everything, the suite, the location and the ambiance just what we needed after wine hunting. Cooking facilities were limited to a microwave and an electric kettle, but with...More
Great little boutique accommodation. Everything you need including a pool. There is no Restaurant on site so you will need to grab some take away or head out to one of the many local restaurants. We had one of the first floor rooms and sat...More
We have just spent two nights at Villa Provence. It is very well located being only a few minutes to most of the wineries and Hunter Valley Gardens. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Winery Cottage very close to the main house. This had everything...More

Glad you enjoyed your stay! The soaps are Appelles - an Australian company. The one you liked was their rosemary leaf body bar. All of their products are fabulous and can be purchased on their website. Jo, manager

In the Hunter you really need a car to get around, you can't just walk out of Villa Provence and expect there to be heaps of shops and restaurants right outside the door. If you do have your own car, Villa Provence is less than 5 mins away from the Roche Estate/Tempus Two complex and Hunter Valley Gardens. Just depends on what wineries you want to visit really, whether you want to big commercial giants or the small family boutiques.
My stay a few weeks ago over the long weekend was fantastic, no noises at all despite being full house with some young kids around. Only thing that woke me was the adorable friendly sheep in the paddock next door in the morning!
No public transport passes the door. It's about a 1,5km to the main tar road via dirt road. If you are in daylight there would be buses on main road but at night nothing. Only option would be a cab which would come at a... More
