This was our third trip to the Hunter in the 6 months we have lived in the Sydney area and by far the best because we booked a private tour and we booked rooms at the Hermitage Lodge. We traveled with good friends and stayed in a Vineyard Studio and a Vineyard Suite which shared a little private entrance and...

For visitors to the Hunter wine country, Hermitage Lodge is beautifully positioned. The layout of the property is brilliant with all rooms adjacent to the vineyard. The dining room is also well positioned & the food is tasty & of high quality & not "over the top" in terms of price. We will definitely stay there whenever we return to...

Actually I stayed here in 2012 together with 3 friends of mine. The things that made us grateful stayed in this place are: 1. Extremely clean and spacious lodge. Could not find any visible dirt during our stay. 2. Beautiful scenery in the morning. My lodge facing the sunrise...woooohooooo 3. Healthy and delicious breakfast. The taste of the provided yogurt...

Stayed here for two nights for a day on the green, it was nice and close to the venue. Rooms were immaculately clean and modern, lovely view over the grape vines and it was lovely watching the hot air balloons flying over in the morning. Only negative would be the breakfast previsions they were a little lacking and very basic....

Stayed at the Lodge on a Thursday night. Have been to the Hunter many times and stayed in seriously up market and expensive accommodation. This property serves well. The rooms are lovely , we stayed in a suite. It was large with its own fireplace and lounge room. A couple of gripes only: No conditioner in the bathroom toiletries. The...

We stayed in the Hanging Tree Studio at the Hermitage Lodge for one night, which was more than enough space for two people. We had a beautiful view of the vineyards right outside our patio, and it was so quiet and peaceful. Mark and Noreen were so hospitable, allowing us to leave our bags with them early in the morning...

Hosts Mark and Noreen were exceptional in their warm welcome, looking after us during our stay and ensuring we had an amazing experience :) We stayed two nights, one of which we dined at the fantastic restaurant "Il Cacciatore", which comes highly recommended. Make sure you make a reservation - this place books out quickly. Try the wine produced from...

we stayed in the wonderlee suite, which is a two-storey apartment that had a bedroom with spa bath upstairs and kitchen and living room downstairs. Verandah overlooked the vineyards and location of resort was right in the heart of pokolbin. My only complaint was that wifi was not working properly in our room, which hampered our research for next destination...
