We decided to try to get away for our 1st anniversary, and for a last minute decision you would think we had planned it a year ago! Right from check in the staff were friendly, & very professional. Our room was extremely clean and well fitted out. Even wifi at no extra charge & espresso coffee machine. ( More pods...

Thank you Simone for your review. I'm very pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We are very fortunate with our position overlooking Town Beach and our north easterly aspect which generally means there is always a cooling se breeze. I hope to welcome you back in the near future.

Stopped in on way back when we needed a pit stop back to Sydney and was perfectly fine for what we were looking for. Basic but comfortable and clean rooms, a nice pool and sauna that brought back childhood memories and it has a great coffee shop downstairs. Also highly recommend scampi for dinner - really good food served there....

Thank you for your reply. I'm glad we were able to meet your needs all-be-it a little more expensive than you would have preferred. Hopefully we can welcome you back at a future time in one of our apartments or any a time of year when the prices aren't quite so high. We also have regular luxury escape packages which...

We stayed here for 2 nights over Australia Day and I have only two words - BED BUGS!!!! We were bitten all over and had to completely disinfect all our luggage and clothing. We told the hotel that there were bed bugs in our room but they have yet to respond at all. Do NOT stay here!

I am sorry that you did not have a pleasant experience and sincerely apologise that we failed to respond to your concerns in a more timely manner. After the reporting of your issue to reception our housekeeping manager undertook a visual inspection of the room and found no evidence of bed bugs. Like many hotels we follow a very strict...

We had a fantastic time again. We have been coming with our children since the apartments opened in 2003 and now our grandson is coming along too! Take a room with an ocean view and enjoy meals on the balcony. The kitchens are well supplied if you want to cook for yourself. Town beach is just across the road and...

The Observatory at Port Macquarie can’t be beat! We have been coming to Port Macquarie for over 20 years, but when my husband and I had children we found hotel/motel rooms difficult to stay in. You need the space, a kitchen and laundry facilities to make your holiday enjoyable. The 2 bedroom apartment at The Observatory is comfortable and luxurious....

We keep returning to The Observatory because it is consistently clean, comfortable, well equipped and has friendly staff. The Observatory has great views on every level with beach and walking tracks across the road. 10/10 for us!

Happy returns! We feel like boomerangs, our third time back! Town beach is a glance away, with Norfolk pine trees dotted along the ocean foreshore. Keep fit and not fat by walking down William Street or take the scenic break wall path to town. Otherwise do laps in the indoor pool, than relax on your ocean view balcony or grab...

We enjoyed our two bedroom apartment. The lounge area was large and offered a great view over the beach and river. There was no en suite for the main bedroom and the bathroom wasn't large. It was adequate for our needs but we only stayed 2 nights. The pool was popular and the coffee shop downstairs is a real plus.
