I stayed with my family of five, in a 2bdr apartment for 5 days and we loved it! Great facilities, clean and had all the amenities stocked and replaced daily! Also such a great location as it’s right at the city and near the beach, so we could walk everywhere or catch the free shuttle bus around town.
It’s the perfect stay place for families and the staff are super helpful and friendly too!
Only downside is that sometimes the apartments next door were a little bit noisy at night but not too much. And also the wifi was a bit annoying as it kept turning on and off, but other than that it was great!

Booked this online, and although not cheap was very good. Roomy lounge /dining/kitchen area, and doors onto a spacious balcony. Bedroom good, also with door onto the balcony. Bed very comfy, and the shower was really good. Bathroom had a bath & separate shower and the toilet was totally. separate. Very quiet street, with about 700m to the beach & port, nice walk. Parking was very good, undercover & secure and FREE. Would be better if the toilet had a small hand basin, otherwise have to go into the bathroom to wash hands. Laundry was tucked away in a hall cupboard, was great to use. Really enjoyed the stay there.

Apartments are in a great location; walking distance to so many things. They are clean and well appointed apartments. Our only cause for concern was the “child-proofness” of the apartment exits. There was no chain/bolt on the front door and the sliders were only kept “locked” by latch; all of which our toddler was able to open and escape. Once on the balcony, she was able to climb the ledge, slip past the gate and was off on her way to the road or car park as all exits opened from the inside. We would stay again because everything else was great but this part did cause us a bit of worry.

Having stayed in many motels and apartments over the years, I found the Wollongong apartments to be clean and comfortable. Everything was there for self catering and it was a great spacious place to stay.
I was also grateful for the secure undercover parking.

Our check in at the Wollongong Service Apartments was seamless and without any issues.
Here is my feedback about this apartment we stayed in. It was clean, spacious and conveniently close to everything. . However, the place is very dated and inclusions were basic. Sofas showed a lot of wear (no tear) with visible stains. Didn't feel it was hygienic to sit on. I would NOT recommend this place.
In my opinion, the 4 star rating would be attributed to the location only.

I had to book a two day stay here at the last minute. I found the apartment to be really spacious, the kitchen well equipped (although the plates were in an awkward place that I almost couldn't reach). The bed was comfortable and the bathroom a good size. Although the furnishings are not super modern, I felt that this would be a place you could stay in for a while and be fairly happy. After two days I discovered that the balcony door had been unlocked the whole time, so it might pay to check on arrival. Cleaning was generally very good (my dishwasher was unpacked for me!). The hotel is very close to an apartment block which could get noisy I imagine, but because it was cold while I was there, no one was on the balconies at night. I found the log in process for the wifi really frustrating.
My one reservation is that there is a call-out charge if you contact the management out of hours - $100 for a visit or $50 for a call. This seems odd if you have to call because there is a problem with the apartment. I'm not sure how they work that, but it might discourage people calling for genuine problems.
I would stay here again.

We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay here and hope you will revisit us again should you be in the Wollongong area sometime in the future. With reference to the after hours call out charge - this would only be charged in the case of unnecessary after hours communication and is designed to discourage guests calling at all hours of the night and early morning for trivial matters i.e. requiring a new tea towel at 3a.m. which was happening frequently. Stayed 2 nights and I had a great time. It is just like staying in your own home. Staff friendly and very helpful. Great place and very clean. Close to shops and the beautiful beach (go to Kembla street then left). Highly recommend and I will return.

Yes, it is the perfect location. Walking distance to the Town Hall, Entertainment Centre, shopping mall and beach. And lots of cafes for your morning coffee. The apartment itself is spacious, with a full kitchen and a bath separate to the shower....wow,I like that. And, very good to see, each room sponsors a child through World Vision. That is impressive. The only negative is that it is noisy if the windows are open, and it is hard to sleep with them closed (the air conditioning doesn't go that far).

If you want value for your coin the Wollongong Serviced Apartments will deliver. I have paid the same price in many other locations in Australia and have received smaller/run down rooms in return.
The rooms offer very open spaces with full kitchen, very comfy beds, good TV and best of all free and fast internet. The aircon is ducted and very effective. The apartments are about a 5 minute walk from Woolworths and also a 5 minute walk to the beach.
The staff are ultra friendly. I dealt with Susan and Georgie who were very helpful and delivered a warm welcome.
If I was to sum up this property I would have to say it's a "home away from home". This will be my first preference and recommendation for any further Wollongong stays.

I feel a little guilty with this review in view of the glowing comments of other reviewers but I always try to be honest.
My wife and I spent three days here and found the place generally acceptable---it's very well located near Wollongong CBD and all facilities.
THe staff were pleasant in welcoming us and the premises including secure parking were well maintained.
Our Issues were with our suite which was not cleaned properly not being vacuumed at all during our stay and on the third day the unit was not serviced at all-- nothing -----so we had to ring reception for this to be attended to.
I suppose the thing that also swayed me from giving a higher rating was that the TV reception was very very poor with only a few channels and of those several almost unviewable. The young lass on reception said it was a problem in the whole complex but would be fixed--- nothing happened during our three nights stay.
In summary we may have struck them at a bad time and the reviews given by others may be a better reflection of their overall and ongoing performance.If possible I would have given them three and a half out of five rather than the three shown here
