I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service provided by Alecia, Benedikt and Michaelah. The staff were cheerful and accommodating for the entire rodeo week! I appreciate the prompt service despite the mass crowds! Thanks so much to all the staff!

The Red Earth is the best choice of accommodation whether you are an executive on business, visiting from the outback, on a family holiday, in town for supplies or just checking the place out under the guise of "just passing through". Mount Isa has never had hotel accommodation of this standard until the Hackfoort family regenerated a notorious block of...

Decided to treat ourselves to a little bit of luxury and the local visitor information centre suggested we try the "Presidential Suite" at this hotel for something upmarket. Massive room with king size bed, double bathroom and oversize TV, all spotlessly clean and well maintained. Off street parking is available but not secure. Meals were typical country pub fare with...

We stayed in the room With a balcony. I loved the decor. It's unique and well done. The rooms are clean and the bedding is fresh. I would definitely stay again. It reminded me of the beautiful hotels we stayed in, in the states and French Canada. Never stayed anywhere like this in Australia and exciting to know its here...

Unexpected quality in a new city. Large, high-ceiling room with comfortable beds and a well-equipped bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff and a dinner of a quality that would not have disgraced any restaurant in any city in Australia. A real pleasure to stay here only marred by the street sweeper who started work early in the morning - not the hotel's...

Probably the choicest accommodation in Mt Isa. As someone said, the mining execs need somewhere swish to stay when they're in town. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Service is attentive without being over the top.

The Red Earth Hotel is well-located, with very clean, modern rooms and facilities. It offers a much higher standard than most comparable hotels in regional cities. My room was very elegantly furnished, very clean, comfortable and quiet. I had an accessible room which was quite spacious. In my opinion the best place to stay in town, central, efficient staff, very clean, and quite a genuine atmosphere. Despite the renovations next door the place runs very well. Would recommend especially for business travellers. Breakfast was very quick, the coffee was great.
