Large room, comfortable beds, excellent for having a microwave and fridge. There are laundry facilities. Walking distance to the shops and The Buffs club, which has the best meal in town. Friendly management 😊

My son and I got a double room for one night on a trip to cairns, we paid $130 i think, the service from the Manager was good. There wasnt much parking in front of our room, but we managed to find somewhere around the corner near some other rooms. The room was ok size, not too small, with a...

Overly priced, Dirty, old, outdated, shower door also broken, sheets really need upgrading my child refused to use the covers on her bed and the whole room just felt filthy.. I had read reviews of room been recently renovated but unfortunately our room was not. The positives were location and kitchenette was clean with tea, coffee milk supplied.

Pete and his wife are new managers and are very friendly and helpful at the motel and also for local knowledge. Very clean and comfortable .Good Bathroom /toilet. Stayed 3 nights .Bit of road noise during the day but most motels would suffer the same as they are nearly all on the same road. Quiet at night. Walking distance to...

Room was comfortable not over big but this didn't matter so well laid out even a kitchenette with microwave toaster and kitchen utensils. Nice bathroom good size nice shower. Bed not the most comfortable but certainly not a problem. The owners were great so helpful...

Great location, lovely management. Lots of facilities in the room and a BBQ area. No pool as such despite being advertised as such. Car park not suitable for large vehicles, although management organised off street parking for us

Great location, opposite shopping complex. Room was very comfortable with great facilities. Microwave, toaster with a range of cutlery, utensils and crockery. Friendly service. Only downside was the air con only had one speed setting that worked and car park a little tight.

Nice and close to CBD, friendly and accommodating management and staff, clean tidy rooms, not much traffic noise though you are near the main drag. Excellent water pressure in shower, cold aircon that is not too noisy and comfortable bed. All for $125 a night. What more do you need?

Pros: Friendly customer service Close to shops/town Clean and tidy Price Cons: It's off the main road, so you get all of the road noises from cars and trucks passing by No blockout curtains, so when someone drives into the car space in front of the room at 2am you get woken up Bed was hard and uncomfortable as were...

Wonderful friendly staff, home away from home, very affordable and spotlessly clean will recomend. We were met with a warm welcome and advice on things to do, what was going to be just an "overnighter "turned into three days. Enjoyed the chats under the Mango tree, we shall return on our next visit.

“I had a twin room that was very comfortable on the ground floor just past reception. Could not hear anything from above. It had a kitchenett which is great especially for longer stays. I found it very quite there at night even street noise was quite. I always prefer ground level easy to come and go and I am closer to my bike.”
