We stayed here on a powered site for three nights recently and couldn't fault this park. The staff were lovely. We saw a gentleman upon checkin who was friendly and efficient. We went back in the next day to book an extra night (because we liked it so much) and the lady serving was made it feel like it was...

We've stayed here many times and love the cottages. However , this is the first time we have been there in 40 degree heat - and the first time we have realised theres no air con Sleeping through such a hot night was awful - so we left a day early. Howver , must stress that normally this an awesome...

Nice outlook from our cabin - views over the golf course . The pool is nice, although small and leaves needed to be removed. Great position next to the Blue Lake Comfortably self contained - perhaps could be improved with some minor maintenance - cupboards that would not open , minimal water pressure in the mornings . Reasonably priced and...

We stayed here for a week during the holidays. The park itself is clean and tidy and staff were all friendly. The facilities are okay, small pool is comfortable even when there is a small crowd, tennis courts are bitumen with many cracks that could become hazardous, the games room is in need of a little TLC however the other...

We travelled from NSW to stay in Mt Gambier and were very happy with Blue Lake Holiday Park. We booked 2 powered sites in the second week of January, so while there were a few people around it wasn't peak period. We had no "neighbours" in the site we picked and were able to spread out, the kids had a...

The location was great! However the cabin was cramped and dated. The air con did not work. The price charged did not reflect the quality of the experience. When asked for advice about places to eat, the receptionist provided one suggestion and then suggested that we just choose one. We really wanted an insider's perspective.

Stayed for 2 nights in a camper van. The park is large and grassy with shade and bitumised roads, so no dust from people or vehicles moving around. We arrived 7th Jan and had lots of choice of powered sites in different locations & we chose to stay away from the sites backing onto the road. We found the ability...

We stayed at a very busy period and this no-doubt colours this review. Camping in a powered site was very cramped with the next-site's tent pitched literally 'on the line' to our site which is not ideal from a fire safety or noise perspective. Seeing other sites this is not unusual I guess. The toilets and showers were old and...

Toilets were disgusting and old. Blocked toilets and urinals for days. Floors looked like they had never been washed. Long walks to toilet blocks even longer walks to the laundry. Nowhere near enough bins meant large piles of rubbing lying around the park and resulted in the park smelling like a trip. Nice green grass and we got a large...
