Great location with huge rooms but they are a little warm and dated We had a seperate free standing air conditioner on overnight to keep the room cool. Staff were very friendly and very eager to help during our stay

The staff at the Grad Chancellor were very friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic close to restaurants, shops and the city park (with Monkeys!!). The hotel maintains its heritage charm and Launceston itself is absolutely gorgeous.

Stayed here the night before starting the overland track. Arrived late which wasn't a problem. Had a delicious dinner and breakfast in the inhouse restaurant downstairs. Staff were friendly. Rooms a little aged but bed was comfortable and had plenty of space to spread out. Would stay again.

We had the deluxe double (lowest price) and the room furnishings were dated and the shabby chic look was really just shabby. The air conditioner was too loud to leave on at night. Still I've given a very good rating, as it was clean, the beds were comfortable, the room was big enough, and the staff were absolutely great. It...

Adequate parking, efficient friendly check in, room located on first floor at rear was not ideal and the sound of noisy air conditioner was mildly annoying but the room with a bath was clean with a mini bar, nibbles and coffee and tea. Within walking distance from the Brisbane Street shopping mall and a variety of restaurants with Asian and...

The hotel has portable airconditioners in rooms that are incredibly noisy. If turned off at night them the rooms are hot and stuffy, if left on, it is very noisy. I was lucky enough to have an opening window and the breeze was Boeing the right way. My colleague on another floor was not so lucky

Good location, easy to get to for strangers to the city and handy parking, very comfortable, quiet and spacious room. Did not use restaurant, lots of alternative eating places close by, Wi-fi too expensive.
