Traditional moral layout but the rooms are comfy, spacious and clean. Mattress and pillows very good. My heat pump was one the blink but the night clerk came and got it working for me. Very friendly staff.

This hotel was an average old style hotel. Three floors of units, with stair access from a steeply sloped car park. It was clean and comfortable. Hotel is a good walk away from the middle of town, and doe snot appear to be have changed since it was built many years ago. Time for a renovation or rebuild, (with a... More

Simple but comfortable hotel well located within easy walking distance to town. The hotel manager was friendly and fantastic in providing helpful information on the goings on around during the Easter break. The continental breakfast was plentiful and there was plenty of parking.

Other than the antiquated room, broken desk leg and the empty soap dispenser, this wasn't a bad hotel really. The place needs a facelift and definately a room lift but once you get pas that, it's worth the money.

This hotel is nothing special, it was just your average room. It's close to town, only a short walk. Close to the Royal Oak Hotel and City Park. What was a surprise was the in room free wifi, which I have come across is a rarity in Tasmania. Good if you just want a clean room.

This hotel is not that centrally located to the centre of Launceston, and being on top of a hill, the walk to the city is easy, the walk back not so. Its showing signs of age, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is an issue with it being built on a hill, so the car park is steep,... More

We booked a family room here because we were going to an AFL match at the Aurora Stadium, (which is very close by, walking distance in fact) and it was great. The room was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Yes, the car park is on a very steep slope, yes you do have to walk up 3... More

Stayed here for our last night before flying out. Was well priced. Big clean comfortable rooms. Central to town. Big TV, good shower, big bed. People have mentioned steep driveway, which isn't a problem unless u have mobility issues. Would stay here again.

We were looking for accommodation close to the city with car parking and found this on Trip Advisor. Managers were very friendly and helpful. It is basic accommodation, bit dated but we slept well. As others have mentioned the car park is quite steep.

Stayed one night here on the way to play golf at Barnbougle. It is a good, clean hotel with good facilities within walking distance of town and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The site is VERY hilly and the walk from the car park to reception can be challenging if you suffer back, knee or ankle issues (or after... More
