Thoroughly enjoyed the "Irish Cottage" at this fine, well managed facility. Each cabin is like a fantasy dreamworld with elaborate detail. Our cottage included two fireplaces, a full kitchen, large spacious bath, and comfortable bedroom with canopy bed. Air conditioning, free wi-fi, TV, quality amenities, and a thoroughly stocked kitchen completes the picture. A number of thoughtful touches, from delectable...

Down the interesting little lanes of the (very) underrated Launceston, you'll find these cute little historic cottages (opposite the very imposing old Methodist Church). We were greeted warmly by Rob and shown around the lovely little English Cottage, with a brief history lesson on their original use and the restoration of them to their current form. On a practical note,...

Hello Pamela, We just read your review and are very disappointed that you were so uncomfortable. We will take on board all that you have said. This cottage will undergo a refurbishment in May so the dingy walls will make way for new plaster, I agree that the old wallpaper must really go! We will also address bedside lights during...

My husband and I stayed in Aphrodite's Cottage earlier this month and thought it was just wonderful. We held our small wedding ceremony in the garden and spent two completely relaxing days enjoying the luxury and comfort of Aphrodite's. It really is so much more than it seems in the online photos...so much space yet beautifully cosy and private. A...

We were married here in 2001 in Aphrodite Cottage and we very much looked forward to our return to Alice's Cottages. This time we chose to stay in the Welsh Cottage and it certainly was chock full of olde worlde charm and character. We loved it! Pity we weren't staying during the cooler months as the fire place looked really...

We stayed in the two spa rooms and it was fantastic to stay somewhere with a bit of character. The rooms were large and I enjoyed the spa at the end of each day with all the lavender products. The breakfast that was included was a lovely continental collection of local goods.

Each cottage has a theme and decorated appropriately for the time.Lots of laughs were had when our friends checked into The Boudoir (picture above) We had Scotish Cottage which was very cosy and comfortable for our two night stay.We loved the spaceous bathroom. The catering for our...

Alice's Cottages were a wonderful surprise. A series of restored workers cottages, full of antiques, old books, and the ambience of old Tasmania in a modern setting. Our Cottage the Welsh Cottage was as the name says given a Welsh theme. The rooms whilst a bit small had all you needed, and the bathroom had a big spa in it...

My stay at Alice's was just amazing. It really is unlike any other place I have stayed before. The location firstly is prime as it is just a few minutes away from the city. There are so many options when it comes to choosing cottages, and I couldn't go past the Aphrodite cottage. The house is very large and very...
