Stayed for two nights. Would definitely recommend. Apartment was spacious, stylish and comfortable with everything you would need for a longer stay. Felt a bit spoilt. Very clean and well looked after. Will be my choice for Launceston from now on...

My family and I were travelling to Launceston and stayed at the Lido. Didnt look like much on the outside but we were pleasantly surprised by the apartment itself. Very clean and well maintained. Cosy and yet spacious enough for 4 -5 people. Had all the basic amenities, including a hair dryer in the bathroom! Very close to a Coles... More

Stayed in a 3 bedroom - 2 bathroom apartment which was spacious, light and airy. So great to be able to do a couple of loads of washing too. The art deco building and apartments are a little shabby but clean and charming. Beautiful full modern kitchen, comfy lounges and flat screen TV. First class bedding and fluffy towels. I'd... More

Fantastic - can't really fault in anyway. Kelly the owner was easily accessible by mobile phone and when we had an issue with a bed wheel breaking she was on top of it quickly. The apartment (Number 5) was airy and big - after long days out sight seeing it was like coming home. Bathroom great and no issues with... More

Upon entering The Lido apartments, you'll find yourself immersed in an environment with an iconic throwback to the 50s retrofitted with modern facilities. It is a quiet, cosy space which has been kept in acceptable condition as its frequent use by travellers has clearly taken its toll on the décor. However, apartment from the occasional wear and tear in the... More

Stayed Sunday night, arrived early afternoon, reception unattended, did not spot one staff member during entire stay. Apartment very roomy but quite tired, paint chipped and peeling everywhere, hole in wall where picture was hanging, picture sitting on floor, bed lamp broken with exposed wires (very hazardous), cob webs in bedroom, linen good, quite clean appearance otherwise, plenty of heating... My family of four stayed at The Lido recently and we stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment rear facing. I chose the Lido because it met my needs - room to move - free wifi - looked clean - well located - self contained. I found the apartment was quite warm and homely and clean. If anything I would like... More

This is an amazing discovery. We love this place so much. We were here for 4 nights and didn't want to go to restaurants for every meal so I chose these apartments. Well, we will never stay anywhere else but here when in Launceston. Exactly the same as a hotel BUT 3 separate bedrooms: 2 queen and 1 single. Really... More

I stayed here while my husband was around the corner in St. Luke's Calvery Hospital (Lido is very conveniently located, a 4 minute walk to the hospital, so I didn't need to spend extra on taxis). The 1 bedroom accommodation I had was fantastic, very spacious and airy, complete with full kitchen, lounge, sunroom and full bath. There was also... More
