My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn Edenholme Grange for one night. We were in town on holiday, travelling from the NT, and had no idea that our evening stay would coincide with the Launceston Cup. As such, two weeks out we had trouble finding a place to stay but were fortunate to obtain this booking through hotels.com....

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with Choice Hotels. We enjoyed meeting with you, a Choice privileges member, and are pleased we exceeded you expectations. Just to correct a misunderstanding on the origins of the house. It is a Victorian Mansion built as a Gentleman's residence back in 1881 by Captain Ditcham, a retired sea...

We stayed with our 3yr old in a nice big room with loads of charm and interesting antiques. Very comfortable beds, easy to get to all of Launceston from hotel. Paul was very helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the roses!!

Loved this place, it's away from all the noise and the owner and his wife are lovely. This is not your run of the mill standard hotel - every room is different! Mine has beautiful wood floors, an amazing spa bath, massive comfy bed and a heritage rustic look. I loved it. If you are looking for a standard boring...

I often travel to Tasmania for work and Edenholme Grange makes a lovely change after staying in sterile, modern hotels. The period decor is full of character and overall my stays there are always relaxing and peaceful. Beautiful gardens surround the buildings contributing to its charm. I also find that I sleep better compared to a hotel as the beds...

Very beautiful family home set up, history rich felt like a step back in time which made for a great change of the usual! Owners very friendly and helpful. The homestead had excellent views of Launceston. They do offer a 10% off meals at the local Irish pub which were very nice. If you enjoy history and or want something...

Edenholme is a very grand place, but, very disappointing and very expensive, I always thought that when a place says it's a B& B, it included Bed and Breakfast, not here, for the same price for one night here we could have stayed somewhere else for 2 nights that included breakfast. Paul was a very nice host, but, the hotel...

We arrived after hours on a stormy night without a booking and were well looked after by the owner Paul. We stayed in the Victorian spa room upstairs and were impressed by the obvious care that the owners have put into this unique property. The house is beautiful and located on a hill right by the centre of the city...

We stayed in the cottage . We found the approach to the cottage untidy , flagstone path dangerous . The cottage was clean , the beds very comfortable . Plenty of heaters to keep warm . The cottage needs lots of work around windows , blinds filthy , not working properly . There was a sugar bowl so filthy with...

We weren't aware it was a stay-in home when we booked but this wasn't a bad thing! The owners are lovely and kind and keep out of sight and made us feel like we owned the place! We stayed in the Captain's Room which has a gorgeous spa in the bedroom and great views over Launceston. The Kind Bed is...

“Depends in what you are looking for? We wanted a four post bed. Paul let us look at the other rooms, Any would be great. Our room was off the side, but entered into the dining room; if you have trouble with stairs and steps, avoid it, and shower over the bath. However the closed in Varandah was nice. Remember, its an old house, be prepared for imperfections, after 132 yrs its still standing! Ask Paul of its history.”
