At $89 a night, you can't expect too much, but a room that's doesn't smell awful as soon as you walk into it would be nice. You get used to the smell it's only as you come in the door. The towels could be replaced with something new. Although the bed was comfortable and clean. The noise all night made...

The receptionist was lovely and friendly. The room neat and tidy, however the bathroom is a little dated, but still functional, none the less! Location lets the accommodation down... Got not very much sleep due to the constant stream of traffic all night (especially the trucks, slowing down and taking over from the traffic lights) The only other issue I...

Stayed for two nights with a mate. The room was a good size although the bathroom was small but functional. The shower head is very low, so at over 6 foot it was fun to wash. The sink was in the main room but this worked fine. There were no toiletries (or soap) provided at all in our room -...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner. The room was a good size. It was very modern and had a decent size tv. There was a bathtub, but no plug. The weird thing about the room was that the bathroom sink was in the room and not the bathroom. But it more odd then anything and was perfectly functional....

Pros: Loved the classic 100 year old high ceilings, large window looking on to the street and simple decor. Fresh clean towels every day and toiletries kept me comfortable. Was convenient having Coles across the street and one of the most popular restaurants in the neighborhood downstairs. Cons: Bathroom was a little small but understandable considering the building is from...

From reading some online comments, I was prepared for some issues to arise, but some were not as bad as some people described. - Yes, there was no one when I checked in and I had to get the key from a rude bar woman from Steve's grill (but whatever). - Yes, internet access was not clear so I had...

We arrived from the Airport to find that there was no one at reception and there never was, the waitress in the downstairs restaurant got our key but had no idea where the room was as it was a separate business. The room was clean but very small, there was no table, only a small bar fridge and very basic...

Booked on the Wotif website which let me book two rooms as the hotel website would only let me book 1 room at a time. Booked two double ensuite rooms, paid just under $70 a night per room which is a very low rate. Checked in after a workshop. As the booking info had indicated, the small reception desk is...

The rooms are always clean tidy and the best value. The restaurant downstairs is the best if you don't book you won't get a seat - full nearly every night. That says it all. Can recommend the apartment if travelling with a group - 2 bedrooms and a lounge gives you space for snooze time. Has free wifi.
