Stayed for a week with the family. Staff very always helpful. Restaurant was great with dealing with the kids and adults menu... Nice wine list too. Great location only a short walk to parks or shops.

The hotel was very modern furnished. The room was relatively large. But we were surprised that there was no breakfast included and above all, we had to pay a daily $8.-fee for underground parking. As there was no restaurant in the nearby neighbourhood ate in the restaurant downstairs and also had our breakfast there. The staff as friendly and obliging...

The room appeared to have been fairly recently refurbished and there were so many great things about the room - good size bathroom with separate toilet; the lounge, dining area was very spacious and comfortable; the bedroom could be closed off by a sliding wall/door panel and there was a lovely balcony to sit and contemplate. I would highly recommend...

This is the second time we have visited the Sebel in Launceston. It is centrally located with spacious rooms and friendly staff. There is validated parking. The hotel has a small restaurant which we ate at for dinner and breakfast. It has a pleasant street view. The hotel has a lounge area to enjoy a drink. Would recommend.

What an enjoyable meal. We had a table of 8. The service was fantastic, the meals were excellent. 4 of us had steaks, all cooked differently and only praises. Every one left happy I highly recommend for a lovely meal and great service.

Overall a great hotel. Rooms are very spacious, buffet breakfast is reasonably priced and decent variety. Location is good and the marina is only a few minutes walk away. The gym could do with an upgrade as it is very small and the treadmill and bike are quite dated. Having said that, if you need it just for a jog...

our first night was fine , then the next day on arriving back, at 8.15 pm the room stunk, it smelled like a dead body , wrapped in cauliflower and cabbage , we had to be moved, the next room faced a skip with rats and was a disabled room, the third night of a 4 night stay we were...

Dear Betty, I know it is inconvenient to have to move your luggage so my apologies your original room contained an odour and it was necessary to change rooms on your 2nd night. The cause was from cooking in a neighbouring room. Like many hotels we do have hospitality grade ozone generating air purification machines which can eradicate even strong...
