Stayed one night. Wish I could have stayed more. Check in was great, room 24 was a pleasant surprise. Bed oh so comfy. Wife loved it. All the amenities and facilities one could ask for. Continential breakfast was included and it had all you could want, juice, fruit, cereal, choice of breads and a coffee machine which delivered a hot...

The wife and I stayed here for a night and it was fantastic. Such a beautiful building with so much history. They've modernised it a little and it is in great conditions. Rooms are fantastic and service is great.

We were looking g for a place to break our journey. After looking around Lakes Entrance and being uninspired by bland motels we came across The Riversleigh in Bairnsdale. What a find, a beautiful boutique hotel. We were upgraded to a great room (1) and breakfast included. Right by the Mitchell River and enjoyed a circuit walk. Highly recommend The...

Stayed over Easter, rooms were a good size, with comfortable bedding, fantastic hot water in shower, great towels, heating for the chilly evenings, TV, hairdryer, teas and coffee, small fridge for our own items as required, plates, bowls and cutlery. Breakfast was buffet continental, and had delicious stewed fruits, yoghurts, cereals, tasty ham/cheese flaky croissants, other muffins and pastries, and...

We stayed for 2 nights and I must say we loved it. Very friendly staff and helpful. The basic room was very reasonable and had all the required facilities we wanted (maybe a box of tissues would have made it helpful). I loved the restaurant and the garden outside. It was nice taking pictures all around the hotel!

I had a do a quick work related trip to Bairnsdale. I stayed at The Riversleigh because the hotel I usually stay was booked out. What a surprise the Riversleigh was. Lovely boutique hotel with modern touches. I was warmly greeted at reception and showed where the complimentary breakfast was served. I was also upgraded to a King room. Which...

This boutique hotel, set of the river, offers large rooms and ensuite with all amenities. Very comfortable bed, an endless continental breakfast provided with a good range of food. If we could find one criticism the lack of the fly screen on the window, however as there were no mossies it was not a problem.

Following a long drive from Merimbula via Lakes Entrance, we stayed here for one night because it was convenient for Ninety Mile Beach the next day. Our expectations were high following others' good reviews, plus the rooms looked decent in the photos. However, we were quite disappointed. We were given room 10 on the first floor which was a dark,...

We only stayed for one night on our travels. Something I'd read on here gave me the impression that this hotel would be just OK. We loved it! Spacious room, well decorated, small but sufficient bathroom, lovely grounds. Wifi was fine. Great bed. Very pleasant eating area and excellent breakfast choices. Staff were helpful too. We'd love to come again.
