We visited for the weekend and chose the family gold package. It is worth every cent! The room was really basic but not in a bad way. It was clean and really comfortable. A huge bath that we unfortunately didn't get time to try out. I'm sure it would be fantastic though. The bed was sooo comfortable! The staff: Honestly,...

We stayed the night and did the dinner & Blood on the Southern Cross show. The room we had was the Governor's room, very nice, recently renovated and very clean. We had the dinner at the US Hotel which was very nice then on to the show which was fabulous. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Breakfast the next morning was very nice...

We stayed here on a Sunday night for the blood on the southern cross experience we enjoyed a great dinner in the USA hotel were there was one of the most amazing wall paper prints from an artist back in 1800ish (ask the wait stuff its quite an extraordinary story) followed by the southern cross experience another great depiction of...

Pictures will say enough for themselves. Family of four , one night stay $265 . Supposed to be a double bed, not two singles pushed together and also ripped. Where are we supposed to sit around the table, only two poof seats for four people. Outdoor furniture, what a joke. Dirty walls and stains on carpet. Shower head was about...

We are always appreciative of feedback and any complaints made by our visitors which gives us an opportunity to address areas of concern and improve our service. Generally our guests share their feedback with us in a considerate and polite manner, however on this occasion, our staff member who first received your complaints in the evening was both shaken and...

We booked a couples plus 1 package as we took out 18yr daughter. We booked for a queen and single bed. We got a queen and a pull out sofa (stained l might add) the sofa was awful, covered with a doona instead of a mattress. It was dreadfully uncomfortable for our daughter. (This was her 1st experience of staying...

We stayed in the family room and packaged up to include dinner and light show. Room had a queen and two bunks. Whilst modesty furnished room was large, had everything we needed (bar fridge, hair dryer etc) and clean. Beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast in the morning had the basics with cereal, toast, juice, tea and coffee. Good place to...

Oh boy, how difficult it must be for them to maintain a basic level of cleanliness. The shower had a build up of grime around the base, there were pubic hairs in the bathroom, and to top it off there was a blood stain on the sofa. There were also long hairs stuck to the furniture and the whole room...

We had expectations that this Hotel would deliver far more than it did. The Governor's Room was chosen and in terms of value for money I am afraid this room was way off the mark. We regretted staying here. The room was small, poorly furnished, the air-conditioner and the mini bar fridge were noisy, needed maintenance and rattled away all...

A nice place for a family stay and to explore Sovereign Hill (located right next to the village itself). The room we stayed in was quite large and equipped with essential things. The breakfast buffet offered was very nice and had both hot and cold meals, as well as warm beverages.

We stayed in the Superintendants Quarters with a 2 day entry to Sovereign Hill. Absolutely well worth it. Accommodation was clean, comfy with a touch of luxury. Buffet style breakfast in the morning was delicious. 2 Full days in sovereign Hill made it a relaxing journey back through time. Highly recommend.
