I always love visiting Balgownie Estate on wine tours! The staff are always friendly and informative, there is plenty of space to enjoy the wines outside or inside. Beautiful venue with beautiful views. We always purchase the delicious wines here!

What a delightful find! Was a lovely chance to try out some beautiful wines. There was a Hen's Party happening so once we chose our wine, the staff were happy to bring our cheese platter to our room. Spent a wonderful afternoon sitting on the patio, looking over the winery. Will be going back, but for two nights next time....

After ordering a Balgownie wine while having lunch in a hotel in Bendigo, we decided to take a leisurely trip to the winery. We received a warm welcome and were offered interesting information about the wines and winery. The wines were reasonably priced which reflected their quality. We followed the tasting with a coffee and truffle. A very pleasant way...

We were only in Bendigo for one night and found this place online, it is about 10km out of town - very easy driving and easy to navigate to. The cottage was well appointed, with a huge bathroom with spa bath. Breakfast is included - just the basics, but perfect for one night. It was nice and dark at night...

Great wine! a real shame my husband and I went there for a tasting and to purchase wine today but a large group arrived and we were put on the back burner ruining our experience. We quickly purchased and left feeling very disappointed. Won't be hurrying back :(

Accommodation is excellent and really comfortable. The people are very accommodating and hospitable when booking and when leaving. Its a lovely quiet place for a night or a few nights...recommended. You can have lunch..or cheese plate and wine at the winery if you like. The wine bottles in the room are very well priced.

Lovely ambiance and very friendly, caring people. The one bedroom (suite 2) was very comfortable and spacious. The wines gorgeous and our evening meal, whilst the cafe is not open in the evening, meals can be ordered and taken to your suite and be heated on the electric BBQ if required, was delicious. A great stay. Thank you

Thank David H
