Not a fancy hotel, but clean, good service and great value for money. Very handy if you are catching the Spirit of Tasmanian, specially if doing a day sail. ... and good to be in a room where the window open. Hate being sealed in. For the price it is hard to beat and St Kilda is a great location...

It has been 2 years since I last stayed here, my wife and I decided to go away for a weekend, on arrival the staff were very warm and welcoming, and this was for the whole weekend, all staff were great, the room, the room, dead bugs on the windowsill, half the lights did not work, toilet roll holder about...

Stayed for four nights during a classic Melbourne heatwave. Hotel rooms are a bit dated and family rooms lacked any kind of view. Staff were excellent and friendly. Bar was fantastic, although not overly busy on 3 of the 4 nights. Good location however Fitzroy St is a bit run down. Car park was difficult to navigate in a large...

Have stayed here numerous times over the years. Very clean, modern amenities, helpful staff. Awesome location. secure parking. Trams at door, short stroll to restaurant precinct and bay walk in St Kilda. Prices vary considerably from time to time. Have stayed elsewhere too because they are just too expensive at certain times.

Hotel of good quality and good location for a fair price. Rooms are quite modern and personnel are very friendly. Right next to the beach and very easy access to the city centre by tramway right in front of the hotel.

Rydges St Kilda is of typical Rydges style, cheap and no frills. Check in staff were helpful and process was simple as always. Getting to the rooms was an experience in Lift 1 which seriously struggled to make its way to level 4, The room itself was relatively clean and the bathroom was OK apart from the pathetic shower pressure...

Dear Umer, I am very disappointed to read your negative review based on your experience of a one night stay, as clearly the majority of our guests have a much higher impression of the hotel and in particular the friendly service our team is known for providing. I am very surprised regarding your comments about the service you received from...

Fabulous location close to beach, shops, tram. Stayed in a family room with two adults, two kids, found it had the basics for what we needed. View wasn't so flash but we didn't mind too much. A bottle open would have been helpful ;-) all up very happy with our stay, and breakfast at the cafe on site was lovely...

Stayed in this hotel for Business. Room and bed were ok. Bathroom toilet needed bolting to floor to secure and there was mould on the bathroom ceiling which I reported. Could have provided more towels. Downstairs restaurant and room service was ok.

I stay here very regularly so have had many different rooms. This time I was on the fourth floor which was quiet, had the usual things I expect - so good towels, great soap and that terrific loo paper! My room overlooked the main road and was good to sit up in bed and look out albeit it a distance....
