I have booked here for a month, while I am traveling and working, and so far I love it. it's a little nice hostel, 2 mins walk from the beach and from the town centre. The prices are quite convenient compared to the hotels and motels, and the quality of the place is extremely good, so I highly recommend it.

We had a good time at Dolphin Retreat in Bunbury. This place is great for young travellers on a budget and also for travellers who want to stay in one place for a couple of weeks. The common room creates a nice opportunity to meet people. Friendly staff was very helpful. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

We arrived on a rainy evening but the friendly staff's warm greeting immediately made us feel better. She was super helpful. She made sure we got everything we needed - plates and utensils for breakfast, towels, and she even gave us a map of Bunbury with places of interests highlighted, told us about activities at the hostel and where to...

The house keeper is just horrible. He keep the snooker's stick to play with his wife. He stole your plate and fork when you forget them in the kitchen then ask you for 2$ per missing object. He told me to leave the hostel 5min after my checkout at 10h05 (cause i wanted to wait until 12h for the bus...

The friendliness of staff and guests made for an enjoyable stay. However, The room was quite cold. The kitchen was quite small and wasn't very well equipped with utensils. The bathrooms weren't the best.

I stayed here for 3 months whilst working in Bunbury! Loved the staff, met some great people. Good location, not far from the beach. They have a great socialising area for all back packers, with an outdoor area and a games room. Great bars close by.

I found the hostel very good, clean and great place to stay, also try very hard to help out with requests, if they can. they also have outdoor areas as well as indoor space. they have an out door washing line so you can have nice fresh smelling clothes instead of wasting electricity, also the showers are really great with...

Tip #1 Don't be put off by the outside when you arrive. I thought good grief as it is not your usual YHA, instead it is a little converted house which is surprisingly big inside. Apprehensively walked inside and was given a key (not card) for the room and paid deposits on individual cutlery packs and towels. Yes, rooms are...

I could be bias on this as I had just been to a dreadful hostel in Margaret River but this was a little Oasis. I had originally booked a dorm room but after having 2 sleepiness nights due to noisy drunken guests at other hostel I asked if I could have a single room instead. They didn't have one BUT...

“The room was clean, a double bed, bunk bed style, underneath a single was fine. The room we had was just off the kitchen and a bit loud as it was an older house adapted into a hostal. ”
