It was once the best hotel in WA outside of Perth - about 30 years ago. Haven't stayed there for about 20 years assuming it deteriorated. How wrong I was. My room was 'as new' a big twin with balcony - 2 chairs on the balcony but no table. The bar and restaurant areas looked modern as well as reception....

Location is fantastic, near the city center, supermarket, cinema, Marlston Waterfront ( where you can find Dome, Barbados, Casella's the Spanish Tapas place I love, Taffy's candy n choc shop, and playground ). Pricing is so reasonable for what you get. Clean and spacious. Rooms on the third/fourth/fifth floor have amazing view. My room was on the third floor and...

This old hotel is reasonable value for money if staying a two bedroom apartment. It's certainly cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. And breakfast is included in the price (which could be well over $125 for us with our older teenagers). Yes the rooms are a bit tired as is the bathroom but it is clean and hygienic. Beds a firm...

We had a queen room, but the bed was smaller than a queen size bed..it was more like a double bed. Room was clean, but bathroom looked old with yellowing tiles and faded tiny bathtub. The biggest downsidefor me was the constant whooshing sound of air from the airconditioning, which went away when the door of the room was opened...

We spent a night at the Lord Forrest for our wedding anniversary and would have been better off in a regular hotel we stay at in Bunbury most of the time. For the price we paid we would have expected a better deal. The receptionist when we arrived was extremely good with a beautiful attitude to us. The next morning...

I had expected the Lord Forrest Hotel to be quite good as I remembered the hype when it was first built during my childhood. Overall it was fair. On the upside, the staff were lovely, the room was spacious and clean and the indoor pool was family friendly. On the down-side we ordered room service that night for two people...

Lord Forest is in need of facelift and furnishing update but still pretty decent and good value. With a facelift could be great. Location is great ,easy to walk to a good selection of restaurants in the town. Beach is handy although best to drive. The pool is small but reasonable. Staff are friendly and polite.

This hotel is dated, yes, but it is an average of $50-60 per night cheaper than its more modern competitors. It is very central to town, parking is free, it is neat and tidy. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay there again for a less expensive option.

Very central to city, restaurants, cafes and the main street. A large, spacious room with a comfortable bed.
