What a surprise to have SO MANY animals surrounding our accommodation and crossing paths with us throughout our stay. The animals are so tame .... they really seem to enjoy interacting. We even had an emu right at our back yard. Just delightful! Our unit was very spacious. It's definitely suited to bringing the tribe. Accommodation was either recently built...

Whilst I didn't take my kids this time, I cannot wait to share this experience with them. It was such a special experience at Hideaway. I've never seen more friendly animals, up so close, and such a vast range. It was surreal. In contrast to the rural scene outside, the cottage was surprisingly contemporary and I thought quite luxurious. And...

Thanks so much for your review. We are really pleased you enjoyed the quality of the cottages and furnishings. The Colonial is a treat being so close and there are many more great attractions not more than 20 minutes or so drive from our farmstay. We would be delighted to welcome you back with your kids so they can experience...

We have been to visit Margaret River on many occasions but this was our first time at a farm stay. A beautiful setting, Hideaway was so perfect in its location. It was close enough to the town and beaches, but secluded enough to enjoy the serenity and charm of the country. Andrew and Hanisi, the new managers of the property,...

We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing! We stayed at cottage 2 which was very spacious, clean and almost brand new. The owners were hospitable and friendly. We were taken on an animal feeding in the morning at 8.30am ( only runs certain days though so check beforehand) which was a great experience for kids and animal lovers....

We brought our daughter here for her 3rd birthday and she loved it. It's a perfect place for kids to hang out in a farm and see/play/look at the farm animals. My daughter now keeps asking to go back to the farm (and she's a city girl). The place is lovely and has a fully equipped kitchen. It's about 5-10...

Wow. We are so delighted when city kids fall in love with our farmstay and the animals. Thanks for describing the property features and our location...so close to town! We still pinch ourselves sometimes when we think about how lucky we are to live and work here and knowing our guests enjoy it so much is just wonderful. We'd love...

This was our second visit, having stayed Easter 2016 for five nights. Whilst we were only able to have a short visit this time, it was equally delightful with Andy now at the helm for the animal feeds. The farm grounds have had a bit of a tidy up which, whilst it wasn't bad before, has made the place a...

We stayed here for three days; what an amazingly peaceful and unique environment! The cabins are situated far from other guests and are clean, well appointed and comfortable. The farm manager, Andrew, is very personable and leaves you alone to explore the farm and its delightfully friendly inhabitants. Make sure you join Andrew for the feeding of the animals - it...

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here, and will definitely be back. Our nearly 2yr old absolutely loved getting close and interacting with all the animals, or just watching them from behind our cottage fence. It provided several hours of entertainment for her, which was great for us! Our dog loved coming along for our weekend getaway too. We...

Thank you for sharing your experience. We love to hear how much the farm affects our guests - especially the children. My three year old had a very enjoyable time. It was more of a tourist farm and there werent many animals but the variety(emus, chickens, sheep, cows, ducks and guinea fowl) was enough for first timers staying in a farm. It also meant that we could sleep peacefully at night and there was lots of space for us and the...
