We stayed in the forest view suite and found the room large and good value for money. The room can be a bit loud due to traffic and restaurant noise however nothing can be done about that. The room was exactly as described when we booked it and we enjoyed our stay. Would happily stay again.

Stayed at this guess house for a night, room was clean and reasonable value for money. Bathroom was small, bed only a double but comfortable. However there was a strange purple mark on a bath towell which we were hoping was washing detergent. However, this guest house is let down by it's staff. Tried to make a booking in the restaurant and found the front of house gentleman rather rude and unaccommodating, stated they were booked out even through we walked past twice and saw spare tables at different times of the night. Went to check out the following morning and stood waiting for at least 10 minutes whilst the front office gentleman chatted on the phone never acknowledging us once. We ended up leaving the key in the drop box, never once did he try call us back in the office or make eye contact with us. Very disappointing and wouldn't stay there again due to the bad experience with staff.

We stayed in the Champagne Room which had a spa bath and a private balcony. Greeted warmly at reception, lots of character and charm of the place. Yes, there was alot of noise because of the restaurant and service station. Also major road works were happening at the same time plus traffic being diverted to the other road but this cannot be helped. All in all, for the price we paid for. It was good value.

We stayed in “The Cabin” Cute appearance on arrival Reception was closed (was around 530PM on a Friday evening) Our keys (along with about 5 others) were in envelopes on a stand by reception We let ourselves in Cute little cabin from the exterior Interior not bad Kitchenette cute and functional Bed jammed into a small nook Linen and towels were clean Room was clean Shower was borderline torture! Hot/cold and no consistency, if I had a kid I wouldn’t let them in there as it had moments of burning hot then icy cold Bed was small, not the most comfortable or uncomfortable No face washers in the bathroom, a note to ask you to wash make up off with tissues... Breakfast not included - price seems high taking this and other factors into consideration...

Noisy room dat and night No rest at all. Terrible weekend spoilt from nose from pizza Erica and restaurant when operating and getting ready whilst closes! Never stay here again. Not warned at all about the noise. Charged full price for the worst room number 1. Beware.
