We have stayed here every time we have visited N Z since 1999 (7 times)and wouldn't consider any other. The rooms are well equipped and light and airy, Kevin and Misuza are both friendly and obliging. It's great and now with the refurbishment, even better.

This motel has a lot of useful items and nice facilities which should be because of the owner's wife from Japan. We felt like we were at home as there were many kitchen appliances such as a pan, a pot, a hot plate etc. The room was tidy because of the cleaners coming everyday. One of the room was a...

Renovated recently, Friendly staff. Choice of different types of rooms. Convenient location. Bit noisy with traffic noise. Clean and comfortable.Suggest add 'On Sate Highway 1' in addition to giving the Otaika Road address.

We booked out 3 rooms over the weekend. 2 studios and a 2 bedroom. The rooms were so clean and tidy and loved the little extra details like make up remover wipes in the bathrooms. The owners were so lovely and helpful I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Was handy having a fridge and basic kitchenette. Tea/coffee/milk provided. Rooms were clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable. Host was really friendly and accommodating for the extra...

My husband and I stayed here as a one night stopover travelling South from Cape Reigna. We booked a few hours before arriving and had low-mid expectations based on the price. We were greeted by the very friendly person at reception who also gave us great advice for our next day's drive. We were very pleasantly surprised with our room....

This motel is an older style but has been tastefully refurbished. Being low cost we were expecting the worst. What a pleasant surprise. Nice firm bed and tasteful decor. The studio unit we stayed in had a long bench which accommodated the TV. Kettle, jug with a well appointed shelf unit overhead which provided good quality tableware and cutlery plus...

We stayed one night in a pleasant unit down the back, the windows are double glazed so there was no highway noise - Jim was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The unit was very clean and comfortable.
