My husband and I stayed here for one night in a ground floor studio in November 2016 at the start of our New Zealand trip and honestly cannot recommend it enough. Very reasonably priced and a great base for exploring the west coast. The accommodation itself was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and nothing was...

We stayed at the Coleraine for just one night as part of our 2 week trip through New Zealand, but it was a nice stopover location as we headed further south to the glacier area. The hotel room was large, clean and had a nice kitchenette as well as a large bathroom. Good hot shower! The gentlemen who own the...

Excellent motel. Top service & attention to detail. Lovely managers can't do enough for their guests. Clean, tidy, everything we needed. Highly Recommend. We really enjoyed our stay. They will transport you to & from the town centre which is helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The owner was very friendly, warm and helpful. He made sure we knew things to do and places to go around Greymouth. We were staying here when an earthquake hit the east coast (opposite side of NZ South Island) and woke up to some shaking during the night. Staff were very good to make...

Having been chased off our itinerary on the East coast of NZ by the earthquake, we found The Coleraine on TripAdvisor and booked the evening before we needed the room. We were met by a most helpful gentleman who offered us the choice of two rooms and we elected to pay the extra $20 dollars for a deluxe room with...

The Coleraine Suites and Apartments in Greymouth is a lovely place to stay. It's a bit out of town, but the rooms (especially the one bedroom apartments) are great - a large lounge with a kitchen, extra heaters, an electric blanket on the bed (which is lovely in the colder months), and a lovely big bathroom with a fantastic shower...

You won't believe that this hotel is in Greymouth. More chic, stylish and better appointed than my Wellington and Auckland accommodations that cost far more. Having stayed multiple times previously in Greymouth, I was expecting homey and functional, but little more. Instead, I found a large, beautifully decorated efficiency, a great assortment of toiletries, the best cable TV of any...

I came across this privately owned hotel through tripadvisor reviews. On arrival one of the owners greated us, took an interest in our travels and was very helpful with tips on where to eat and places to visit. I was pleasantly surprised when shown to our room, the room an executive king studio with private spa bath looked better than...
