Funny, I have to agree with all of the reviews I read here? The good and the bad. Great location, locked into the 60's when tourism was really just getting popular. Not much has changed. The camper van sites either back onto the beach or overlook it. Constant bash of the surf is comforting. But don't be in the kitchen...

Everything was great, the lady at office was friendly and helpful. The place was cute, kiwi and cosy with everything you need, and good affordable rates. Nice by the beach. Unfortunately it went down hill when the other owner, (husband?) was so rude to me when I asked a simple question, it could have made you cry it was really off...sad...

This is a very simple camp ground with clean tidy amenities. My single cabin was warm and tidy with a TV fridge and toaster. Very reasonably priced. Maybe a little old and slightly run down but value for money and if you plan to get out and about instead of lounging around all day this is the perfect stay. I...

Costs are reasonable but just too basic for the 21st century because I expect showers and wash basins to be clean and for items like washing machines to actually finish the job when I have paid extra to use them. Better attention to hygiene and a little flexibility towards check out time would have been appreciated.

It used to be an old rural school, and based on the price don't be surprise with the old place. However you can find everything you need here, everything is well maintained except that it looks old. We had both of the cabins, because I had my parents with me which they are not so an outdoor person to stay...

Very happy with our stay! Being winter the campground was very quite! We didn't use any of the facilities provided but our site was right on the beach and away from the main area! Wifi was only $2 and was accessible in the site which was a huge plus!

I stayed in a 2 bunk cabin although it was just myself. It was cute and cosy with a TV, fridge, toaster and kettle. The main area in the house had a fully equipped kitchen and large dining and lounge area which was a lovely space. The owners were very nice and friendly. Lovely park and definitely recommended.

A few km north of Greymouth, off SH6. A busy old lady keeps an eye on everything that happens at this camp. The grounds are right at the seaside. The lower part is for tents and caravans, the higher part at the north side is for campers. Several places have an excellent view over the sea, with some rocks in...

My husband and I stayed here for a week to take photos of the sea stacks at a beach about 15 minutes drive away. We stayed at a powered site for a couple of nights and in a cabin. This is definitely not a shiny, new holiday park, but it has charm. The kitchen has cooking equipment and utensils for...
